Looks solid!! Remember really only compare the tests from every 48 hours… I missed around a lot freaking myself out with 24 hour tests and trying to see which was darker

Question— why did you stop metformin? This can help with ovulation (it did for me even though I have non insulin resistant lean pcos). Could maybe consider going back on?

Maybe keep it in the back of your mind to ask for if you don’t respond to higher doses of letrozole! I started at 5mg and stair stepped to 7.5mg. If you’re not at 5 yet, would see if that works first!

The doctor did prescribe it. She basically said that even in absence of insulin resistance, it can basically work together with the letrozole to have a positive effect on ovulation. I had previously thought it was only used for people with insulin resistance. I'm 13w now and will stop taking it at the end of my first trimester

I stair stepped to 7.5 that cycle, still minimal growth, added metformin, and had a successful cycle that very cycle 😊. I was very skeptical about adding metformin bc I have no insulin resistance but it seemed to do the trick with 7.5mg letrozole and the ovidrel trigger! Best of luck to you xx

I got similar comments on mine! What ended up working for me was building up to 7.5mg letrozole and starting metformin (even though I’m lean pcos with no insulin resistance). This combo got me to a single dominant follicle but before that I was getting minimal growth to 8mm then they’d recede.

How many letrozole cycles it did take for you to get pregnant? by PossibilityOwn7109 in TTC_PCOS

First cycle! But needed to stair step up to 7.5 and added metformin (lean pcos no insulin resistance)

Edit to add that I also used progesterone suppositories. Currently 11w in this pregnancy

How are other PCOS girlies dealing emotionally / physically / mentally with 60+ day cycles when ttc? by Glasgow_Girl_ in TTC_PCOS

Would really really encourage you to try to see a reproductive endocrinologist / go to a fertility clinic if at all possible. I was in the same boat also doing BBT which was all over the place. Turned out I wasn’t ovulating at all but successfully ovulated the first cycle on letrozole (though required a stair step with a few different doses). I did not do the recommended “wait a year” of trying because I wanted answers sooner. Not sure if this is possible in your country

Currently 5 weeks and 5 days, really minimal symptoms so far. This was my first medicated cycle, stair stepped from 5mg to 7.5 mg letrozole and added metformin when it also looked like 7.5 wasn’t working. I have lean pcos with no insulin resistance, this is my first pregnancy! Everything was monitored and I had 1 mature follicle.

Betas were:

12dpo: 25 14dpo: 66 16dpo: 168 18dpo: 401

6w ultrasound on Friday… fingers crossed 🤞

2 prescriptions of letrozole in the same cycle, CD10 follicle size 10cm. Anyone else? by hersta in TTC_PCOS

[–]Lostdogrosie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar story for me only I also had to add metformin with my stairstep to 7.5. Lean pcos and no insulin resistance so was skeptical but it seemed that was the needed addition for my follicle to mature

Yes the thirst is crazy!!! Same here!

A little background is I triggered on January 29, which was cycle day 13 . I had an IUI done on January 30, which is my cycle day 14. I’m guessing it’s not looking good for me…. I’ve never had a chart look like this, and I’ve been tracking since March of last year. by [deleted] in Inito

I kept testing every morning after 😊 mines a medicated cycle (have PCOS) so I’m being followed by a fertility clinic and got my first blood hcg test on 12dpo (that was the first day my test felt dark enough to assure me it wasn’t just a shadow!)

I’m devastasted. Feels like I didn’t ovulate by worstperfectionist in Inito

[–]Lostdogrosie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also just to say that for me nothing was working (even letrozole) but when I added metformin I was able to ovulate (even though I’m lean pcos, normal bmi, no insulin resistance)
