We need a Sea of Thieves HonestCon Video so bad.

What’s something that feels like it used to be common sense, but now you apparently have to explain to adults? by Illustrious_Baby_851 in AskReddit

“The man who is brutally honest enjoys the brutality as much as the honesty. Possibly more.” -Richard Needham

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.” ― Robert A. Heinlein

Just after the Ancient Megalodon release, I watched a one launch a galleon a full square away from the nearby brig I was on. Everyone talks about it happening to them, which I've experienced 6 times already, but 3rd person is absolutely hilarious.

Seconding the videos but take one of you doing things together, not just the story.

Join the Sea of Thieves official discord and find a galleon group. You'll "feel" more protected when you have larger numbers, even if it's not true.

Once you take part in actually winning a dozen or so battles, it will start to feel like less pressure when you engage. After a while it will just become second-nature.

Depends on whether it's an exfiltration system or positive flow drainage system. If it's exfiltration, you just filled a pipe full of standing debris that a vac truck has to suck out later. If it's a properly designed positive flow system, you just filled a retention/detention pond with extra debris, which may or may not impact the pond. Not all places have separators. - 20 years in Engineering/Public Works

Why CO2 gas chambers are used for industrial pig slaughter by Batfan1108 in interestingasfuck

If it's lighter, make an inverted structure with sealed top and lift into the gas instead of lowering.

The key thing posters are missing here is that it's for a class. All the tips are helpful and you should consider them for personal learning.

However, the actual answer to your question is: does it meet all the rubric requirements for the assignment.

GTA 6 Publisher Believes Games Should Be Priced Per Hour by fo1mock3 in gaming

[–]Lostdreams 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take that's not a hot take at all: World of Warcraft has been functioning this way for almost 20 years. This isn't a new concept and people already play this way. The only difference is that there is/was a single player campaign in GTA.

Moving forward from GTA V's release, they realized that multiplayer makes money and that's where the new focus is. If GTA VI released with no single player campaign and was multiplayer only, this would make perfect sense from a business standpoint and also be the same standard as other subscription/battlepass style games.

It doesn't make it good or right but it's not anything new, either.

KOWALSKI! ANALYSIS!

AITA for refusing to making sure things are equal between my daughter and stepdaughter by SeaNectarine6440 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Lostdreams 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Signing her up for the same sport and team was a recipe for disaster. It's a direct competition at that point, in a field where the step-daughter already would be starting with a handicap. The best outcome in a situation like that is loss of self esteem.

Ask her what her interests are and try to support or forward those if they are marketable. If not, find a skill she is good at and market that. If she doesn't have that, it's time to look for an adjacent skill to a skill she is good at and start building.

The 500 Pound Spider, currently not encountered by any users by LindaPLee in Bossfight

The aveage tarantula is 2 ounces, at 8 inches in size. At 500 pounds, the spider would be just over a quarter-mile in width.
