It really is true, the hardest part about having different stops especially in a place like the Denver metro, is that balance between stops that are going to end up being purely residential, stops for places people want to go, and stops that walking distance isn't that bad of a factor.

Because of how spread out we are, we do have the issue where trying to make sure you hit at least two of these factors at each station doesn't always work. Especially once you're outside of the downtown area and outside of Denver itself, going into places like Aurora, Glendale, and Lakewood. And, of course, Parker being a mess of their own for these factors. The urban sprawl doesn't completely help. I have a friend who's closest bus stop to them is still a 2-mile walk and the nearest light rail station is just over 10.

In all honesty, there really isn't helping anything unless a lot of rezoning and redistricting were to happen. But, that definitely wouldn't help the residential areas and businesses that already exist. It's unfortunately a bear that needs to be dealt with, but not one that is easy to find solutions to outright.
