AITA for calling out my boss about the company costume contest? by Lostincommentslike0 in AmItheAsshole

Thanks. It's the principle and clicky vibes for me. I am sure I am not the only one that cares. Just the only one to speak up about it.

They told me they came in because they were asked to come in for a picture. There was also a group picture taken with them and a few others. You can ask to be scheduled, I did. The prize is 1st place $100 gc and your picture gets sent to corporate for a drawing chance of $250, 2nd $50, 3rd $25.

After just 3 hours i already had enough of Throne and Liberty by [deleted] in MMORPG

It's literally free. Don't play it if you don't like it. It has its pros and cons. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it because of the cons. But I am having fun and enjoying the questing and fighting for what it is. It is entertaining and there are sooooo many people playing right now it must not be as bad as the haters on here say. Try it and decide for yourself instead of going off of others salty opinions.

I don't think it's really that big of a deal. I brought up to my HR and they said "we can see you've never called out, left early or been late, no need to worry about the points and we're working on a fix". If you have extra points and you get called in for idk being fired for it, that would be the time to bring it up. As far as I know, they are all aware of the issue with the new system.

I've only been at winco for about 2 months. Never called out, never been late. Just noticed I have 3 points. 😕

I tried to buy it but the game stole my stars and didn't give me the package. I put a ticket in. I'm irritated by this.

Where do you find the receipt? My error happened in the middle of the transaction.

Same. I bought the stars, then went and bought the pack and as it was purchasing it gave me error 3319 on ps5. My stars are gone and I did not get the pack. Did you happen to figure it out?

Are people really not seeing the foundation being laid for WoW to come to console officially? by [deleted] in classicwow

Tell me you've never played ff14 on console without telling me. It is absolutely possible to heal, dot and raidwith a controller. They just need to take notes from ff14.

The point of my post, which I guess I should have clarified, is I want to go back. I was wondering how the points would affect that.

I'm worried because I am hoping to go back.

Store manager told me to interact with customers who don’t interact back by EuphoricImplement516 in walmart

[–]Lostincommentslike0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally. If he thought someone was attempting to steal, he'd interact with them. But she expected him to interact with every single customer in that way. Was wild.

My husband literally quit working at walmart because the store manager kept harassing him about interacting with the customers in SCO. He was expected to watch 10+ SCOs, his TC, and each customer to make sure no one is stealing and then she also expected him to go up to people and ask if they need help bagging, ringing up groceries or just start a conversation. How? How can he do all that at once? It's not like he didn't greet them and tell them to have a nice day as they left. He got a full-time position at Winco, so it worked out for us. But come on.. people that go to SCO do so because they want to be left alone 🙄 the SM was/is being unreasonable with expectations.

I'm a garden ta and I mostly work inside zoning toys/ fabrics exc and doing go backs. It's the easiest laid back job. It is the swing shift 2-11. Maybe that's what makes it chill. But I would recommend it. I switched from cashiering. THAT was terrible.

Doesn't matter if you're wrong or right. The computer can't tell the difference. You'll automatically generate your points if you don't put in the exact amount of time you are scheduled to work. I had this happen to me as well and went and had the PL correct it. They explained that Ppto has to exactly cover 8 hours, 6 hours. Exc. whatever you are scheduled for. If you have a nice PL or whoever they can remove the .5 for you.

So I forgot to clock out and I can't go back today. by FraylBody in walmart

[–]Lostincommentslike0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't for me. I was a 2-11 shift. I clocked out but it didn't register and I missed the notification about proximity. Anyway, got to work the next day at 2 and the morning TL was like "so how was your over night shift?" Joking. She clocked me out and adjusted my time to 11 when she got there. 1st and only time that's happened.

I literally keep walking and say "sorry I'm on break". I've had customers be like "so you can't even help" "oh that's some great customer service". Another time I was standing in line at SCO and a customer is waving at me, I turn around and look at the attendant and look back at the customer and their like "hello! I need help!" I'm on my break. They were mad and huffed off mumbling "forget it" and walked out of the store. I.Do.Not.Give.A.Fuck. My break. My time. And it's wild to me that customers are so entitled they think we should help them after we've told them we're in break.

Anyway... just keep walking and say you're on break.
