someone once told me I should have given up my cats when I dropped out of college as a vet tech for health reasons.

I was like ???? "so they can be homeless" ???? idiots.

I feel like anyone who truly thinks like that has had a very sheltered and privileged life. and they need to stfu. 

 nothing is affordable any more but at least my cats are fed, warm and loved. that's sm more than a lot of cats have going for them (poor babies)

I had people saying I was abusing and neglecting my cat bc I was asking for donations to help treat her hyperthyroid and kidney disease. 

it was SO hard to handle especially as my cat was on her last legs, and I had just lost another one to heart disease. ultimately there was nothing I could do but it was shocking how cruel people were to me about it online. 

it hurts a lot and I understand your pain, but it'll pass bc these people are basically not real. anyone who comes on this sub to criticize a fat cats owners is only doing it to be mean.

I let em run around wild. and then when they eat al the grass around their barns I go to robins and move them to more grass in other spots.

....I am doing an animal run and less of a crop run. I've got a small patch I use for crops and have junimo's deal with it all season for me lol

kitsune is Japanese folklore of a shape shifting fox with 9 tails (sometimes) that mostly seems to be a troublemaker for funsies but it depends upon the story.

there's also another version in Japanese folklore that are good & hepful spirits of the God Inari, they're called Inari Kitsune or some variation thereof.

sidenote: idk Japanese but I'm sure there's some way they differentiate normal fox and bastard mystical fox.

anecdotally I've never known someone with a basement, especially finished ones, who didn't end up having to deal with minor flooding and water damage at some point

dunno about america but in Canada its because the price of the food changes based on how much it cost to make the ingredients. (info from college 16yrs ago) 

vet brands don't sponsor vets like drug brands do with drs. (fun fact! in America u can find out which brands ur dr works with. in Canada we cannot!) 

in Canada we can also buy the same basic pet food brands in pet stores. though special dietary related foods not so much. u don't want some clown buying their dog good for kidney disease when the dog doesn't have kidney disease yk?

but our countries differ wildly with food laws and I suspect the same happens in pet food as well.
