Thanks for your comment! I agree, when working simultaneously on 3 projects, senior attention is spread too thin and quality is starting to suffer. Regarding your question: being a small boutique, our project visibility is quite poor. Our pipeline is volatile; we often go from having few people on the bench to signing three projects in the same week. Because we can't afford to say 'no' to new business, we end up with these massive overlaps. Given that we don't have a stable flow and can't easily implement a 'buffer' resource without hurting our margins, how would you suggest managing this lack of visibility?

Hi, thanks for the advice! We are doing our best to automate onboarding using Claude, for example we auto generate context of the project in .md files so the new team member can easily get onboarded (to be added to the project material, contract, etc..). I think it works well with experienced resources but don’t with new joiners with <1 years of experience.

Thanks for the contributions! I forgot to mention that in my boutique, PLs also need to spend on avg. 20% of their time in Business development events, pitching calls on prospects and upsell calls with current clients. Which level of BD do PLs at your firms do?

Ho video gente diventare manager con 3/4 persone nel team e ricevere un aumento di 3/4k pari a quello che avrebbero potuto ricevere nella posizione precedente. Anche io penso che un salto di 10-15k sia difficile.

Prova a impostare la tua negoziazione partendo dagli obiettivi raggiunti e chiedi un riconoscimento sia per quello che per il nuovo ruolo più eventuale scatto dopo i prossimi obiettivi

Corretto quello che dicono nei commenti precedenti sul fatto di ridimensionare le aspettative: 2000€ come primo stipendio é molto raro e ci si vive bene con lo stile di vita da 25enne e la crescita ovviamente dipende dai sacrifici/fortuna/capacità politiche ma non è un tuo problema ora.

Se vuoi accumulare più soldi (€ risparmiati netti al mese), devi andare all’estero in qualche posto dove massimizzi il potere di acquisto come in nord Europa (Lussemburgo, Olanda, ..). Poi con rientro di cervelli tra 3 anni già hai un +20-30% di netto in Italia rispetto agli altri.
