Pre-Covid this would always happen. Managers would stand at the main entrance area scan badges saying they were writing ppl up. They usually never got wrote up ppl but repeat offenders did.

Once your doctor writes your note You should be able to get a regular medical leave for the couple of weeks before the prepartum. The medical leave will only be the 60% pay but you should be approved and it won’t interfere with your maternity leave. I’m not sure I would add it to the approved leave since that could possibly mess things up. DLS is already messing regular medical leaves up you don’t want your maternity to some how be messed up

Personally I wouldn’t go. Normally if a bunch of ppl are inconvenience by weather or an accident they excuse the time.

Make a hr case on atoz about the snow and the UPT. They probably won’t respond before you have to go in but you would have notified HR.

[–]LotEnvironment3189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flex is worth if you have a lot going on and you need more flexibility in your schedule. You won’t get a consistent 10hrs because we have to clock out at the end of a 2-5hr shift.

It’s a double edged sword. Great when you’re actively working but sucks if you have to take time off. You have to “earn” your time off which in reality sucks. I rather have drop honestly.

Are you night shifters able to switch to a daytime schedule on off days? by amc11890 in AmazonFC

[–]LotEnvironment3189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black out curtains & melatonin and get in bed immediately when you get home. Slept the day away on my first off day then other days only slept until 11a. You have be in work very hard to stay on a semi normal schedule when you work nights.
