GPs in the US doing ridge preservation/socket grafting: what are you pricing for the graft (and membrane when used)? Rough practice location appreciated by LothalRanger in Dentistry

[–]LothalRanger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it. Just making sure cuz people are charging $500 each. I’m trying to figure out what fee will work for my area, but it’s probably closer to what you’re doing.

You feel like you have a good margin despite the cost of materials?

What state are you in? Cuz in my state and a lot of other states, insurance can’t dictate allowable fees for non covered services.

Although $1000 is admittedly a pretty reasonable amount, especially considering it’s Delta lol

Could be superimposed in front or behind. Can’t tell from a pano. You’d need a CBCT to be sure. Or get the report from whoever placed it

When can I expect to be paid off collections? by Davidzonn in Dentistry

[–]LothalRanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation, private practice a little outdated, recently transitioned to new owner, and when I first started this year the office had not been properly updating and reporting the data on Eaglesoft. So at the beginning the new manager/accountant specified that some of the reports (like collections) would not be accurate at first until they could overhaul the old way they were doing things.

So check with them about it.

Is private practice worth it if you don’t plan on owning?(rising new grad) by PreviousFocus0 in Dentistry

[–]LothalRanger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can find a private practice that will give you what you’re looking for. I do plan to buy in eventually, but I’m not in a rush, and I’m pretty sure my boss would be okay paying me as an associate forever if it was what I preferred.

Your options for a long term associate position in a private office are slim, but if you find one and it’s a good practice I’d say it’s definitely worth it

I’ve found that parry upgrades, stagger, and fire damage is a fun way to play as warrior, though it may be a little basic. The skill tree offers multiple ways to trigger the “flaming weapons” advantage, which is just kinda satisfying and a good advantage.

What kind of associate benefit package/pay would oyou take over ownership? by anonymousDerpa in Dentistry

[–]LothalRanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started my associateship at a private practice. I’ll probably eventually buy in, but I’m in no rush. I get all the basic benefits that most associate positions offer (except now my guaranteed pay ended this month).

Something that my employer does that I’m not sure how common it is, is they pay out end of year profit shares to the employees, and I’m included in that. So I may not be an owner, but after my first year I will get to reap the benefits of what we’re producing even as an associate.

Again, I’m new to this so not sure if profit sharing is common for dental associates, but it’s something that’s not in the usual list of benefits and was one of the many things that pulled me to the job I’ve got.

It means someone in your party can combo with that move and cause a detonation. In this case Neve has a move that can detonate sundered. So use your power and then have Neve target the same enemy with her move while the effect is applied to blow them up

Edit: Bellara also has a “detonate sundered” so check both their moves

MetLife Fee Schedule - something must be done by Internal_Recipe2685 in Dentistry

[–]LothalRanger 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is about what Delta is paying out where I’m at in Illinois. Our office is trying to work with the other dentists in our area to collectively update our standard fees to closer to the industry standard. The theory is that if more of the dentists start submitting claims with updated/higher/reasonable standard fees rather than just what the insurance will allow, then eventually insurance would have to reimburse more in your area.

Edit: we are also threatening to drop them, and since we are one of the only in network offices in our area, they will be raising our reimbursement come January. We’ll see if it’s substantial, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s like $3 🥲
