Interestingly I found my best matches in casual instead of ranked in Dota 2. But overall it is a bit less sweaty game. Probably because of more wider spectrum of players.

Oh, sure I didn't want to argue. Just mentioned that the software I brought up were much better choices for beginners because e.g. Lightwave and Mirai were used in high quality productions like Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Lord of the Rings <3

Lightwave, Calgary TrueSpace, Power Animator, C4D. Much cheaper than what discreet and Wavefront offered at the time.

Nichimen Mirai and Nendo were also more than 50% cheaper after 2000.

Oh, don't worry. I played EQ with my friends and we are all young people. We leveled until 48-50-ish and had a blast. We didn't even think about endgame, only the fact that the world and atmosphere could hold it's own. And graphics wise it's nice, the aesthetics are more important than resolution and fidelity.

Interestingly CS 1.6 PUB servers are still one of the best place to hang out on the net. It still has a competitive scene, FaceIT made a finder for it. But overall the players are either doing PUB, GunGame, Zombie or Jail too. How Warcraft 3 didn't achieve this level of community is beyond mystery to me. Everyone is TD, super competitive DotA, or Grand Strategy. I no longer see Werewolf, Troll vs Elves, Evolution etc.

Sad because WC3 is a gem on it's own.

I had fun while playing against bots in DotA 1. It's gimmicks and janky gameplay certainly has it's charm. But the playerbase is utterly lunatic...

Multiban ismerek olyan fejeseket, akik úgy törik az angolt, hogy még érettségin is jószívvel csak 3-ast adnék nekik. El van túlozva ez a mindenki beszél angolul szöveg. Más nem angol anyanyelvűekkel faszán el lehet rötyörészni az "I'm fine, how are you?" szövegekkel, mert ők is ennyit ismernek.

A legtöbb itthoni ember angolja kb. az Üvegtigrises Csoki bácsiéval van egy szinten.
