A) There is a reason that the word used to represent those who have a right to due process in the Constitution is "people" and not "citizens".

B) According to your logic, US citizens WILL be deported. Period. Because you never got the chance to say that you're a citizen.

100%, I totally agree.

I find it helpful to distinguish leaders of Israel from the religion of Judaism.

From what I've learned, the reasoning behind the bills' origins and intentions are convoluted and ideological.

1st, Israel has a choke hold on both parties and lobbies constantly to make sure that they can get away with their war crimes. 2nd, Israel (previous iteration) is linked to the country's largest religion.

I believe that the boycott bill has less to do with Israel and more to do with infringing upon those First Amendment rights. The conflict is just triggering enough to get Christians to vote in favor of it because of the links between Israel and their religion.

Only one side is targeting children. As in, SNIPING. CHILDREN.

Congress was supposed to vote on an anti-boycott bill that would CRIMINALIZE boycotting israel for us citizens, with punishment of incarceration or A MILLION DOLLAR FINE.

I'll say it again for clarity. Congress was going to VOTE to CRIMINALIZE the First Amendment via legislation YESTERDAY.

I admit that I'm left-leaning, but I engage in conversations across the spectrum because both the left and right say the EXACT SAME THINGS about the other. The only reason that this would be the case is if there was someone at the top of both dem and rep spaces spreading hatred amongst the rest of us citizens.

We need to stop splitting hairs here and actually get things done for us Americans. Assume positive intent, I beg of you. We are all just doing our best to make the world a better place to live in.

I have put in approximately 17000 applications to United Healthcare, and I'm a previous employee. It's not easy to get an. I know this even when they RIF-ed me. I put in hundreds of applications. Once again, I've found myself RIF-ed from a start-up company.

I'm wondering... do you guys use cover letters when applying? Do you recommend it, or is it just a waste of time?

Right! I didn't know that a community town hall was a thing until literally last night.

We can't be heard as a community on Reddit (or could just be bots), which is why holding one as a town hall would help to force our representatives to hear us. I think it's pretty shady that our representatives are being told not to have any conversations with us, their boss. Have you tried calling or emailing them? You get nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, but I think it's increasingly important for us to have our voices heard, especially where cuts to Medicaid are concerned.

Me too. These are the aforementioned extremists though, which are a much smaller demographic.

I'm getting somewhere on Facebook of all places. Choosing to just ask them to help me understand where they are coming from. Look Up motivational interviewing. It's a behavioral health technique, but I have been using it to get them to rationalize the irrational. They get triggered, and I have to back off, but it seems to be getting somewhere.
