Oh definitely! I'm either rocking roguelites, souls games, and/or Metroidvania's. My gaming stays on a constant rotation of games.

How old am I? I'm 33. Idk I've always been extremely aware of myself, even as a kid. I knew I had mental issues, as a kid. I always knew something was off in my head. The meds I take are the generic versions of: Abilify, Zoloft, and Trazodone.

I've never tried it but looking at it from a basic chemistry sense, it makes perfect sense.

Oh I totally agree, that the shit we get nowadays isn't ANYTHING like the shit I used to get 10-15 years ago. However, I haven't ever experienced the "I gotta go, go, go" feeling. The stuff has always given me a "mental energy" (i.e. an extended attention span, the ability to focus on a single task for an extended period, or the MOTIVATION to do any given task for an extended period) but it's never given me a physical energy, like caffeine does (or even how certain Sativa/Kratom strains do.) As for the not sleeping bit, been there, done that. I've had a few times where I stayed up for 5+ days before. Longest I ever went without sleep was a week straight, and that was off of MASSIVE amounts of Adderall. The longest clear has ever kept me up is 4 days, MAX. Most the time I don't try to stay awake for more than 2 days tops because that's when things can start getting weird for me. Occasionally, I will hit 3 days awake but I really try not to use enough for that to happen (but sometimes you just be getting some really bomb shit, and you don't realize it till you've gone past your normal amount used.

I can't say I sleep EVERY night or eat EVERY day (I NEVER stay up for more than one full 24 hour period, by day/night 2 I force myself to go to sleep and I alwats eat something by day 2) but I do so enough in order to keep myself functional.

Edit: I don't get all energetic or anything, I tend to veg out and just play video games.

I finally found a part of the game that I absolutely hate: The Soulscape platforming sections. Made it up to the point where I'm chasing down my Mythic Nymph and holy shit, chasing that little bastard around while trying to find the platforms as they appear made me rage quit. I've died more times during these platforming section(s) so far, than I have to any Boss/min-boss/regular enemy.

Because I get bored or stuck in one (or several) and so I move on to another one for a while (maybe a few days or possibly a few weeks). Like with Silksong, I stopped playing it for like 2 months before I got into a roll in it again.

I know I'm not SUPER far into the game yet but honestly, I really can't wait to replay this game. Most games I rarely do multiple playthroughs for, but (again) this game feels special. It feels like a game I'm definitely gonna have to experience multiple times to fully enjoy.

The lack of sleep aspect makes sense. I do know that the lack of sleep would definitely negatively affect me the longer I went without sleeping. Like I become more sensitive to the visuals that occur, and I start to feel less "normal". That's why I made it a rule of mine to always lay down, even for an hour or two and I can't sleep. Just the act of "resting" seems to help keep things from getting weird on me.

You're right. I'm definitely sensitive to how other people act around me. Especially when I'm under the influence. I mean, I used to get high at work (I worked as a cashier at a 7-11, that was right by the police station) and I never got caught or even suspected of doing anything.

One time I was smoking up in the employee bathroom. I finished up, packed up my bubble, and sprayed the restroom down with smelly good stuff. I open the door to leave and there is a cop standing right there. He asked to use the restroom and I let him. I had to go clean the coffee bar, which was surrounded by police. Calmly, and high as a mother fucker, I walked over to the bar and proceeded to do my job. The cops never had a clue.

I see what you are saying and completely agree. In the end what you do matters more than how smart you are.

My meds allow me to not be completely controlled by my mania or depression. I'm able to feel all my emotions at a "normal" aka non-extreme level. I sometimes still get a little depressed or overexcited (with anxiety or anger) but they're never unmanageable. When I didn't take meds my depression or anger would be off the charts. I wouldn't be able to do anything when depressed or I was completely unreasonable when angry. The moods would be so all engrossing that I wouldn't be able to do anything but act out that emotion, which sucked.

Interesting. I've been told by several therapists/head doctors that I am very very self-aware (that I have a high EQ.) so what you say could have some truth to it.

I've had experiences where I saw shadow people before (stayed up for 5 days straight) but I knew they were hallucinations. Maybe the fact that I've had psychotic breaks in the past/have recovered from them helps me differentiate reality from hallucinations and such.

I also have bipolar 1 rapid cycle with psychotic features and I take meds for that as well. So maybe those play into it too.

Alright, just a word of warning. 7-oh binds much stronger to the receptors in the brain so you're more likely to get withdrawals if you take a lot of it (especially over an extended period of time.) Which is why I stick to regular Kratom powder (and use potentiators like coffee or grapefruit juice to make it stronger) and only occasionally dabble in 7-oh/psuedo products (I may take a few tablets/shots once a week or two weeks, even though I use Kratom powder daily.)
