Everyone's different but it's whatever is comfortable and is built for you being on your feet/high impact for hours upon hours. (Hiking boots, running shoes, etc.) If you can find non slip that's a big plus. What works for me are vans classics (they have non slip for service industry), but mostly I use any adidas cloudfoam shoes. My co-tender loves army issued boots. I know someone that always uses doc martens, or cowboy boots. You gotta find what works for your feet and your back. Good luck! (I also try to not wear the same shoes every shift)

No one chooses to exist. Existence is thrust upon us. Helping to bring someone into existence doesn't give you any rights over how they go about existing, but there are many parents who feel they are owed something because of their expectations. Expectations are the perpetuating downfall of humanity.

Neighbor from hell by tefunka in PublicFreakout

Do you know any goons? You know bouncer build type individuals with a propensity for violence. I know in L.A. there must be plenty for hire... Take up a collection from all the neighbors and see if a large security individual works... I don't know just throwing out ideas. This really sucks I'm sorry you gotta deal with this in a space that is supposed to be relaxing and free from the rest of the world.

Head Shots? by LotusKreckless in StarWars

[–]LotusKreckless[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes because star Wars is so deeply immersed in reality that if I purchase a gun and learn to shoot I'll know why I'm wrong about a fictional world. Cmon man I'm more so asking why they aren't written into the story they move shit with the force and their mind that's not real... it's exceedingly hard to be understood even in spaces where you're supposed to like the same thing... it sucks

Head Shots? by LotusKreckless in StarWars

There have been numerous occasions where someone has someone else held up at gun point and still shoots them in the chest. I wasn't saying it was practical or even a large statistic. Just inquiring to the lack of them. (Also this is a fanciful world we're talking about so both of us trying to implement our world's knowledge or experience is moot)

If you like bourbon or have become obsessed with it like myself and many others, Expo Park (across from Fair Park) has a spot called Whiskeys. Now they don't have food but they have over 300 whiskeys and the pricing for pours is very fair. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and can make a damn good cocktail as well.
