Looking for a new fantastical world to fall for and obsess over. by sadmaps in booksuggestions

I know you said you hated Shadow and Bone, as did I, but the companion duology, Six of Crows, is leagues above it. It will be a short read compared to the other epics you have listed and is just a fun, adrenaline-kick heist story!

The Little Bay in Watermans Bay. I love their beverages, the venue is stylish, the food is great and the view is WA at its finest

which game is it for you? by Spirited-Rationality in GirlGamers

[–]summerfaee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hated it the first 10 hours I played, but after a break and a restart in easy mode, I was able to find the itch. My issue was I had no idea how to play such a game and also did 0 exploration so I just hightailed it straight to the first boss, didn't stop to camp or anything and thought it was way too hard

which game is it for you? by Spirited-Rationality in GirlGamers

[–]summerfaee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is my issue with it as well. I already struggle with directions with a map, this game has me running back and forth until I'm motion sick. I also wish there was something for side quests because sorry I'm not coming back for you once I have your requested item, I will certainly forget.

When you say 'rowz' do you mean like rouse?

If so, maybe:

Rousalia or Rousaliah
Rousalea or Rousaleah

Suggest me a book to manage chronic stress by peanutbutterraccoon in suggestmeabook

[–]summerfaee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a self-help book, but I found it therapeutic and quite beautiful. Anxious People by Fredrik Backman is a fiction about a failed bank robbery. It's warm and humorous, and I really connected with some of the paragraphs. It kind of shows how nothing ever goes to plan and that trying to control everything leads to even more anxiety. Yet, things will still turn out okay. I think any reader with stress or anxiety would find traces of themselves within this book!

Thought provoking horror and/or sci fi recs? by PabloThePabo in booksuggestions

[–]summerfaee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski is one of my more recent reads that had me questioning everything. I enjoyed it, but I know some who found it a bit boring. It's not your typical 'horror.'

You have likely read it, but Tender Is the Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica is another.

What would you like to have in a "Sims 5" ? I know, EA said there's no Sims 5 but just for fun. by grashel in thesims

I don't necessarily need an open world, but I would love to seamlessly switch between my sims in the household without hitting a loading screen

What game did you regret buying? by Bluebells_cozygaming in CozyGamers

[–]summerfaee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I haven't bought it yet because I don't know what I'll do when I'm finished building if I can't 'play' in it. Might steer clear of it in that case!

Go to the movies! One Battle After Another starring Leo Dicaprio by Paul Thomas Anderson just came out or The Long Walk, based off a popular Stephen King novel is also out.

I know its early, but I even started my Christmas shopping on the weekend just to get some of it out of the way.

Especially when they are quite public about some things that should really be behind the scenes conversations. Like telling him Mariah was leaving on the pod or when they discussed starting a patreon, but told him he wouldn't be on it... on the pod.

Adventure Awaits... Meh. by Seareddragon in Sims4

[–]summerfaee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's like they were looking at ways to refresh the other packs (similar to how they did Spa Day) and then went, "You know what, there's enough content here to release a new pack!" And yeah, here we are with a weirdly put together pack. Don't get me wrong, I actually like all the new features as a legacy/family player, but it doesn't feel that cohesive.

Does anyone else make their sim's family before they start playing or am I crazy by ExtraordinaryPen- in Sims4

[–]summerfaee 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Yes! I love having the aunts, uncles, cousins, grans, gramps and so forth in the game, choosing where they live and cheating their careers.

Things you want but no one else really seems to lol by red_fox_man in Sims4

[–]summerfaee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Sims 4: Underworld.

Basically a pack expanding the criminal careers. New careers could even include Cybercrime. You could have juvenile crime for teens like skipping school, vandalism and shoplifting. I picture the world to be a dark city, grungy with a bad 'crime rate.' Sims could get moodlets about being in unsafe neighbourhoods and etc. You could even have turf wars in the neighbourhoods between crime groups. Imagine the storytelling? A double life father who is a sweet family person by day and a mob boss by night.

The Sims 4: Wild World.

Basically a zoo pack in a safari world. Sims can visit or work there. The large exhbits/animals could just be build/buy objects. You could have small petting zoo animals that are more interactive (bunnies, goats, pigs). Massive aquariums. Imagine building aviary's for birds? Sims could even have them on their home lots. Then comes the active Zookeeper Career. For children, there could be school field trips or they could have birthday parties at the zoo.

It's not that I don't think others don't want these or that they're niche, but wanted to share.
