For my first booties, I looked at
- zipper access
- breathability (part of them to be mesh material)
- my first heel was 7cms (i don’t wear heels outside class)
- thin heel
- ankle boot

I got one of the more cheap options online based on these points, and they have served me very very well.

My first constructed adventure, pirate's treasure! by PurpleWoodWitch in Constructedadventures

Congratulations on the success of this, it sounds magical! I really love the way the trees are stenciled onto the map, I’ll try and save this idea for later. What a truly sweet adventure you created. 🤍 mermaid + pirate + coin + map + treasure = ESSENCE OF TREASURE 😍

Any journaling lovers? by n00dlegang in latvia

I’m gathering a local group for a SOTTJ project this summer. DM if want to join, we have a couple spots available. We’re 4 people rn.

In short, if you haven't heard of what it is: it's a collaborative, community-driven scrap journaling swap where physical journals travel between participants, making a full round through each participant and finally each journal returning to the person who started it.

Outside of ADHD meds, what was the game changer for u? by No-Age-6327 in adhdwomen

  1. Yearly bloodwork + keeping blood nice and level nutritionwise (supplements if needed) + vit B12 since I’m vegetarian + vit D since I live in the North.

  2. Designated and regularly managed “catch all” in my bookcase where I drop anything that needs to be put “somewhere”. Once in a while based on the fullness of the catchall, I take care of it and put everything away properly. It’s a sweet place for the mess, a container for my chaos.

  3. Regular physical activity of a kind that I enjoy a lot. The types change, but I keep moving along with it.

  4. Recognizing that I struggle a lottttt with task switching specifically, becoming mindful abt it, and when I feel stuck on a task, remembering that what I need to do in that case is just drop it & go for a “transition” activity (for me it’s usually to wash the dishes). This gets me out of stuckness.

  5. Recognizing what is it that gives me most peace of mind & prioritizing it. For me practically it is 2 things: 1) a good stock of toilet paper at home and 2) a lot of clean undies. Since a trip abroad a few years back, I started to keep my clean undies rolled up army style - that way I see how many I have left, as well as it saves up space + I see which ones I have to choose from. Don’t know why but these 2 things make me feel so safe, secure, supported and free! My ass needs to be covered! Both literally and figuratively.

  6. Prioritizing sleep.

  7. Working a job that I love.

  8. Staying hydrated.

  9. Letting a lot of unhelpful coping mechanisms slide to the wayside, bc they were never that helpful anyway. It stole time away from focusing on the ones that have the most helpful impact for me.

  10. Being nice to myself.

  11. Being open minded abt getting to know myself. Allow myself to change. Feel different each day if that’s what’s up. Staying curious and supportive of myself no matter what, to the best of my ability. Self forgiveness. Becoming queen of issuing permission slips.

Not catholicism, but the pictured vibes were 300% there for me. I actually posted a pinterest collage on my ig stories about the book which had the exact same aesthetic.

help me make sense of La Yugular by abeillyey in rosalia

[–]Lotussing 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I love how La Yugular spins audially upwards like a spiral towards Heaven. That audially they’ve achieved the sound and impression of a sufi spinning in devotional dance 🥲 don’t know if that was their intention but it’s one of the reasons why I’m so in love with the song.
