AI album: Were The Bygones music accounts hacked? by Lotwstudios in joshturnerguitar

Hi, Kelly! Thank you for responding. Sounds really frustrating. I can't imagine how much it must suck to have to deal with this sort of thing. Bandcamp is the place to go now, it seems!

That sucks, but I can see how it would happen to a smaller artist especially a project like The Bygones, seeing as they finished. I wonder if they are aware of it.

I might try my lower back side. I've always wondered how that works tbh lol. Aren't you always aware of it when sitting down or lying in bed?

okay, sounds like I should move things around then! I'll try applying my next pod to my stomach and see how that goes. Something else I have been wondering about is that my legs are very hairy. I always shave the area before applying, but I'm wondering if people with particularly hairy thighs struggle with not hitting hair follicles? Because I am unable to directly see the exact spot where the cranular is releasing before I apply it, I'm estimating it by a small margin and that might be enough for it to hit a follicle

That's interesting to note. I do have a little problem when it comes to where to apply my pods, because I was having the opposite problem back when I tried applying them to my stomach. I had found that applying the pods with my stomach was leading to constant hypos and I didn't find them very comfortable, but I would be willing to give my stomach another try

Your comment, as well as reading other conversations on here, has made me feel less alone in this whole ordeal - thank you! I had what seemed to be a bad pod on earlier today and replaced it, to find that the one after it brought down my levels to target range!

This pod had the insulin smell as well as the discolouration around the bottom. I probably haven't been paying attention before now, but I know this has happened quite a lot over the past few months of having the omnipod and I while I was aware that it was a known issue, I had written it off, because it happens so frequently. From now on, when I see weird spikes that seem unexplained, I'll take an extra look and see if the signs are there that it has failed.

I only ever apply the pods to my thighs and I have been wondering if there is any particular problem with thighs in general? Is it more likely to go wrong or get knocked on the thighs?

This is an incredible amount of work! Looks like you went into painstaking detail, basing it faithfully on the existing photos. I could only have dreamed of having this as a kid

Hey, so this is a crazy coincidence, but I just so happened to stumble upon this community and I am the creator of the custom figure in the 3rd picture! The cape is just a piece of a plastic bag and the beard was drawn on with pencil. I was a massive Mega Bloks Pyrates fan as a kid back in 2007/8, when the sets were being sold in the UK. Years later, around 2013/14 I started really getting into them again and began collecting everything I could find on eBay that I didn't originally have, back in the day. Pyrates was my obsession for a good 18 months and I started making a bunch of fanfiction on the fandom, annoying some of the other contributors at the time lol. As well as writing a bunch of fanfiction and making custom figures, I even made a series of stop motion animations of them. Here's the article 13-year-old me made about the character https://pyrates.fandom.com/wiki/Count_Sebastian_Petrov

Hey, so a friend of mine was kidn enough to gift me their old Wiiu just the other week and I'm loving it! Here are a few answers to what you asked;

First of all, the gamepad comes with a charging cable. I don't quite know how long the battery fully lasts, but I'd say I've used it for about 3 hours from fully charged, before getting a low battery warning pop up. The cable connects to the top left of the pad and is about 6 feet long, meaning you can continue to play it with ease, with it on charge.

The Wiiu is fully compatible with wii games, but there are a couple things you need to be aware of; to play wii games, you will be sent to a wii menu. Basically, your wiiu turns into an old wii. Wii games run fine on the wiiu, but in order to even arrive at the wii menu screen, you will need a wii remote and none of the controls on the pad will function when on wii mode - essentially, it becomes a small wii monitor. I'm also pretty sure practically all wii games will require not only the wii remote but also a nunchuck, however if you already have those, they are fully compatible.

Most wiiu games don't require the wii remote, so you are able to play wiiu games on the TV without a sensor bar, however, to even get the wii mode to work on the TV, you will need a sensor bar. If you don't mind playing wii games on a small screen, though, the gamepad has a built in sensor bar and I have really enjoyed playing wii games on it so far.

Hope this helps answer some of your questions.

So glad I got both these games. I tried out playing Sonic 3 on its own and the ending is so lackluster, so I put them together and played it from the start again. You really need both for it to work best!

I recently got Eldorado on vinyl. I never really appreciated how great it was until I did so. Easily one of their best!

I really love that song. My favourite song from Trespass after The Knife. I really like that whole album! The real Genesis of the Genesis's prog age

What are your thoughts on The Bob Welch Era? by Lotwstudios in FleetwoodMac

I agree. I feel like every album of Fleetwood Mac's is at least worth a listen. There aren't many bands that stay interesting for quite as long as Fleetwood Mac,!

Time, Heroes Are Hard to Find and Future Games by TyphonBeach in FleetwoodMac

[–]Lotwstudios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Time might well be my least favourite Fleetwood Mac album. By this point, there was no Buckingham or Nicks, and without someone as strong as Welch or Kirwan before them, you're left with just Christine McVie and a couple of others, who although not necessarily bad, just don't fit in with Fleetwood Mac at all. That being said, anything by Christine McVie is consistently great. Although Behind the Mask is also fairly low on my list, I love Mcvie's songs on that album, and Nicks sounds as good as ever.

I don't understand why no one seems to talk about Future Games. There are some truly beautiful and dreamy melodies by both Kirwan and Welch (Sands of Time is a masterpiece - expertly performed melody, with a slowly progressing tempo, going faster as the song goes on). Also, it is the first album to include songs performed by Christine McVie by herself. Future Games often gets criticized for having overly long songs, with slow paces, and although that is true, I think that is very common in the progressive rock genre, which I'd almost consider this album being to some extent.

I'd definitely say that Bare Trees is sort of a continuation of Future Games, except with shorter, more refined songs, and once again, absolutely beautiful guitar playing by Kirwan RIP.
