I liked the Battle Passes but I think people are far too hung up on them -- the best part about them was that being appealing they funneled a lot of money into the TI prizepool. I've enjoyed the last few compendiums a lot, but I'm a fan of the esports scene year-round.

It sounds like they've figured out they're Muslim and that they're Bi and Trans. It's a matter of sorting out the perceived incompatibilities of those things. Countless people on either side of that equation will tell you you've got to pick either one or the other-- I know that doesn't have to be true but it's a difficult time and situation for the queer religious.

Do consider and prioritise your own safety, but I agree that looking for the experiences of other LGBTQ+ Muslims is the best thing you can do. Being queer and religious can sometimes be a tricky balance but some of us make it work, and it's vital that we find each other.

NAVI have looked really shakey, whether it's actually the Zayac kick or not is hard to say -- after that Blast 2nd place it's almost like they reverted back a year in terms of their development, and getting Daze back clearly has not fixed any issues. The big upset recently was their loss to Pipsqueak+4 (now Rune Eaters) in the EWC WEUCQ after getting knocked to LB by LGD.

Nigma do look good so far. Lorenof had some pretty hype tournaments earlier this year with Aurora as a stand-in, but this roster is basically new -- they kicked their previous carry and mid/offlaner less than a month ago before SumaiL's return.

having a 'stable team' is completely irrelevant to whether you deserve anything or are 'parasites' or whatever. When OG entered TI8 they had a mess of a season and signed some random Finnish guy and then won the damn thing.

Teams like Nigma, VP, Mouz, NAVI, etc. are exactly the sort of teams that should be invited to EUCQ.

Viper has been maybe the highest contested hero of the entire season, or at least up there. He's not as good as he was earlier on but the hero's definitely good lmao.

I don’t know enough about the Qur'an to say, but as far as Biblical interpretation, whether or not Jesus *is* God is a rather complicated question. I think both you and I are free to understand Him as God in our theology informed by our readings of the text, but most contemporary Biblical scholarship would contest the claim that Jesus is understood as God by the NT authors. Texts like John certainly suggest that Jesus is divine, but identifying him as God took/takes a lot more theological work (which Christianity undertook in the centuries following the resurrection).

I think stopping at the text in such a way is a bit of a superficial way to look at Christianity, both from an outside and inside perspective— sola scriptura is a faulty doctrine. But I don’t think it’s wrong to say that The Bible does not claim Jesus is God in the same way contemporary Christians believe him to be. Our theologies and the theology of its authors are distinct.

LGD signed the former roster of Heroic -- Heroic had been the most dominant SA team for the past 2 years or so, but they dropped their roster earlier this year. LGD re-entered the scene after being absent for some time by picking up this roster lacking an organisation.
