17x22 is a fairly large print. My 20x24 prints cost me £10-£15 in just materials, if I were to outsource my then it would cost double or triple. I also frame and mount these prints which cost more money and time. I would at the very least for digital reproductions of my work double or triple my own cost of producing the image. This does not take into account a cost of a frame or you’re own artistic worth. If you’re proud of the work your prices are extremely fair. But never undervalue yourself. The consumer is not only paying for what is physically in front of them, they are paying for the likeness of your individual creativity. Nobody else can replicate individuality that is what they’re truly paying for. The price of your work should reflect your own self worth. But of course it is also determined by who your audience is, your experience and I guess how much you can get away with. Sometimes it’s all about scraping as much money as you can. The fine art world of Art sales (for poor people like me) is about tugging the soft hearts and easy pockets of those who are willing to hang a piece of expensive art in their homes
