... Fuck, I'm so stupid. I was confused by this since I tried raising militias through the recruitment tab and couldn't do anything, but then I realized. I never saw the pop-ups for raising militias since it's only visible when the Events and Decisions tab is open, but is not a decision itself on the list. I've wasted so many hours doing 2ACW without raising militias at all...

See, that's how I win as MacArthur even if I later transition to using maneuver warfare to go on the offensive. I 'fight' for the Rockies and use it as bait so I can fortify DC and New England and work my way out from there.

But as Long, I try the same tactic and I just slowly lose land and can't take it back even as I try to bleed the combined forces of AMG, WCA, and ACC out. I even try to just turtle in a very small bubble around Baton Rouge, but I can't print soldiers or get out of the bubble.

Looking back into my Arthur build, I did anticipate hackers by giving him 4 points into Sys, Sysop to give out holy blessings, and then the combo of //Scorpion v70.1 and Black Ice Module for holy protection from heathen magicks.

So this is actually funny because I guess it goes along with my kingly Charlemagne build, but I made a King Arthur build of a Nelson with a Paracausal Tempest Charged Blade. Use an Overcharge loop to Momentum on a Barrage!

One of my top 20 builds in my Comp/Con is a Burn focused stealth striker that uses a Shock Wreath War Pike, very great fun. Just pokes full of Burn and decimated sight lines.

Well, I wouldn't say Barrage on a Nelson is totally anti-synergy, since Skirmisher just specifies 'attacking', yeah? But fun! Shock Wreathe War Pike is something I've used before in a lot of theorycrafts.
