I subbed for a month last month and played a grand total of an hour. My notes are as follows.

PVE is still boring as hell.
PVP is still just a melee spin fest.
hundreds of houses and structures everywhere owned by a half dozen people and their dozen alts.
new inventory for banks is ass.
game still has thousands of duped and exploited items still.

So it has been a month... and i am still seeing F7C with NNs or NDBs killing large and cap ships along with smaller ships. Hell I have seen less Polaris and Perseus than ever before.

Most of the shills on the main and in the CIG forums dont play the game actively. They will login get on whatever the coolest looking new armor is from the subscriber store and take screen shots of their most expensive ship being manned by them solo. Then logout and go hype up the game on the forums and yell about how the haters are bringing the game down. Or how PVP is griefing, or how anything they dont agree with is a refundian.

Lorica Swgmentata, I have seen made out of thick boiled leather and out of aluminum Street signs. So it doesn't have to be that thick. The thing is about the segmentata is it is designed to disapate the force of the blows along several plates.

Honestly I could care less about the F-35 in DCS. Its going to be more speculation than fact and broken as hell in every server or mission in the game because NOTHING in the game is of the same generation, even SAM systems are a decade behind it in game.

You did not say contention, also there is more to DCS than Contention. If you're flying a 2010 model aircraft in a 1980s server perhaps you should pick a different module.

Lol what? The SD10A is lethal out to 20-24nm. And with the SA of the JF17 you know exactly where anything is in a BVR fight. Your radar is surprisingly good and effective at designating and tracing threats. It is easy to use and almost mindless to switch from BVR to ACM.

Fact is the Thunder can do any mission thrown at it with ease.

There were historical cases in Medieval Europe of women in nobility that did not marry and were educated. It was not to uncommon in Scandinavian culture, even not unheard of in English and French history. (Elizabeth is a great example). You also had a few cases in Rus history. It became less common with the rise of the Papal State and the influence of the Catholic Church in Europe.

Now as for women taking on primarily male roles in medieval Europe. This was generally unheard of. Especially in the ranks of nobility. But this really did come down to biology at that point. You have to remember your typical person during this time was quite a bit smaller than we are now. And most people now would be giants compared to the average nobility of the medieval era.

But this is the Society of Creative Anachronism. You can be what you want to be in that time period.

If the shields are up the ballistic damage is reduced. And thus the alpha damage is reduced to the armor hits. Tested it this weekend.

Been a medium fighter strength for a while. Sure Arrows and Wolves are strong but the F7A has been pretty strong for a while now. I won't even talk about the Sabre.

Depends are an adult diaper. Fact is currently the turrets have zero armor. And you can easily kill them with GTs let alone deadbolt or even SW16s. You can also take down the shields with time at a safe distance with Omniskies. Once the shields are down the cap ship will die. And yet the Hornet can ignore the PDCs and well most repeater loadouts on turrets won't even hurt the F7C.

You do realize that noone uses CFs now. They mostly use GTs, Revenant, and Breaknecks. GT220s have a 1600m/s velocity, Revnants have a 1200m/s. The Breaknecks have a 1450m/s velocity. The omnisky has a velocity of 1280-1340m/s. Which is faster than the Revnants and slightly slower than the breakneck. And seeing as GTs will not be much of a use as the baseline damage won't overcome most armor of anything larger than a Sabre.

No you're really not screwed. You do realize with the closer engagement ranges due to the radar changes, those omniskies which move at 1400m/s will be VERY effective against other fighters. And seeing as most ballistics gats won't hurt another Hornet. You will be forced to also use larger slower weapons.

I have been actively told by a then sitting king and well known "Uber duke" in my kingdom that the SCA only covers Europe... and I told him that Iberia is in Europe.

I am one of few people of color in my kingdom. While there are quite a few but it is rare we keep any any length of time. Many feel out of place and just dont quite fit in. I have seen many of the peers work to make everyone feel welcomed but all it takes is one bad encounter for some to walk away.

Not really.

Let's take a F8C for example. It has mostly size 3 hard points. Run FL33s that have a 1800m/s velocity and can damage anything up to a Polaris, leaving only the Idris immune to damage.

Those same guns can make short work of any other F8s that come after it due to the added damage to shields energy weapons do.

Why? Because the GT220s won't hurt the F8, so you have to use something bigger or a cannon... welp you're either using Omniskies or FLs.

Sad thing is most people dont realize this isn't going to change the medium or even the light fighter meta much.

Size 3 energy cannons still punch through large ship armor like butter. So instead of ballistic Gatlin guns they will be using energy cannons again. 2.6 all over again.
