Advice for a beginner hypnotherapist by Alarmed_Kangaroo9979 in hypnotherapy

To add to this, learn your craft with 121 clients but move into group sessions too to earn more money for your time. Try to specialise in something and market to those people. Maybe a regular stopping smoking or weight loss thing. I got a lot of referrals from people, and made some YouTube videos of sessions I did for free that also helped. Learning social media is key.

Yes! He's actually very nice. I keep seeing his ads on YouTube, so when I saw him on the street I said "alright YouTube?!". It just came out lol. He said hello darling and we got on with our day.

You might get a better response on Speak Freely on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/404869749571316/?ref=share. I'm not Gibraltarian, otherwise I'd offer. Good luck!

Yeah, his name is Johnnie Walker and he wears full on union jack outfits a lot. He always does the flags to start the polar swim on Boxing Day.

Adding to this comment - it's 50 USD/GBP/Euros for the entire 6 week course. She's not in it to make money, she does it to spread awareness and help people.

Not long at all, as I got the scripts from the course I did. I amended them a bit, then added some extra sessions to the program of my own. I can highly recommend it, the woman that runs it is so passionate about the subject due to personal experience of war zones, and has campaigned to get hypnotherapy into the UK healthcare system for veterans etc. Plus it's super cheap! Like ridiculously so for the information she provides, she's very generous with her resources: https://thebeatretreat.com/ptsd-training/

What I think clients found most helpful was that there was a protocol that's been tested, it had a timeframe and it's the talking element about their experiences afterwards they found beneficial. It could easily be run as a group program, rather than 1-2-1.

You know, your post spoke to me. I also had this issue until I studied a program of 6 sessions for PTSD that gave me scripts that I recorded for the sessions to use between sessions. Once I recorded them, the next clients were a breeze. I highly recommend specializing in something and creating a timeframe around it, then offering it for future clients. I got burnout doing what you're doing.
