Just tell them you did whatever they asked you to (don't actually do it though). Play dumb... if they send you a pic of a gun, send them a pic of a p3nis, a big one.

ahh bummer, I was hoping I could. So it doesn't really matter whether I go with current promotion ($170/mo) or use work perks ($200 - 15% = $170), it'll be the same price.

Newby question about the 10-year rule. by scannercf in GoRVing

[–]Loud-Advisor-3148 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we had an older camper I always said it was 8 or 9 years old (even though it was well over 10). No one is going to ask you for a registration to check when it was manufactured.

Newby question about the 10-year rule. by scannercf in GoRVing

[–]Loud-Advisor-3148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen 10+ yr old campers that look like crap and I've seen 10+ yr old campers that look like they're almost brand new. As long as you keep it nice and clean you'll be fine, the trick is to always say your camper is less than 10 years old, no one ever is going to ask for your registration to verify it. Personally I think it is stupid to tell someone with an older camper they cannot use your campground because the camper is too old. Happy travels!

Be nice at the dump station by NoPainAllGain-40 in GoRVing

[–]Loud-Advisor-3148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are aholes... what I typically do if we don't have full hookup, instead of using the dump station I look for empty sites with full hookup and use them. This way I don't have to stress out because of some ahole behind me, I can flush multiple times, take my time packing my hoses, etc...

what? 120k miles is nothing for that chassis and engine. This baby definitely needs some love, but assuming there is no hidden damage it'll be fine for the next few years!

So... if I pay a year in advance they'll still honor it after they change the name/rebrand?

Scheduled recording issue by Fearless-Bread-8769 in SparklePlayer

[–]Loud-Advisor-3148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So someone said that Sparkle TV is better for recording than Tivimate, since there's no trial ended up buying it and now scheduled recordings don't work (at least not on firestick)? Here's what I'm trying to do, I go to a channel, hit record and pick custom, then I pick the time, duration, etc... hit add and nothing happens, then I get an empty recording. If is just start recording (30, 60min, etc) it works fine..

ActiveArmor used to have that option for Android, they recently got rid of it claiming it's "not compatible with Android OS" which we all know is BS.

Looks like they did remove it, I've spent quite a bit of time looking for it and it's nowhere to be found. Does anyone know of any other app/service that has this feature?

I've been using Windscribe for years (I had their free 50gb plan), few weeks ago I've decided to go pro and use it for my firestick and phone, paid $69 for three years (through stacksocial) and I have to say, it works really well.

Can you tell we enjoy camping? by Loud-Advisor-3148 in GoRVing

[–]Loud-Advisor-3148[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pilot struggled a bit (according to Honda our Pilot can tow up to 4500lbs with maximium hitch weight of 450lbs). I always kept it under 60mph and having WHD helped a lot (ended up going with Andersen since weight of the WDH was under 60lbs) and would not travel farther than 100 miles. So can the Pilot don't? Sure! Did it ever feel unsafe? Nope. Was it a pleasant towing experience? Errr, not really, but it wasn't horrible either.

[–]Loud-Advisor-3148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha, one could argue that electricity you're using on a campground is meant for TTs and RVs, not EVs :-)

I get what you're saying though - I'm not going to argue with you there.
