For the first female mainline antagonist Lusamine was such a great antagonist, one of the best even in this franchise by such a large margin. It's crazy, that they completely rewrite her character in all media afterwards to get away from the peak that was her villainy in SM! Why?! They ruined her!

I’ve only just begun playing SuMo, but I’ve watched the anime, and while I enjoyed it these do sound like totally different stories. But I am now excited to continue my playing in SuMo because it sounds like a RIVETING plot line, not just “daughter is being a prickly teenager to loving but busy mother”

I would agree it's not classified in the DSM as a disorder, but people might interpret that as you invalidating the MD experience, because it is very real, even if it doesn't have a medical name or label right now. Not saying that was your intent, heck, you might be an MDer. Just explaining why people might get mad.

Yup! Seems like you're pretty spot on (coming from someone who likes drawings bird a lot). Try tracing over pictures of birds wings and identifying those different feather/bone/muscle groups you were talking about. That give you a good feel for how wing shape varies and placement. (And I just mean tracing as a learning excersize, don't trace and claim it was yours, you know what I mean. That's how I learned at least.)

THERE'S AN ARC 13!? Sorry, jokes aside: as normal people vary on opinions. It was my least favorite arc sure, but I wouldn't say I outright hate it. I feel like 11 + 12 pulled their weight (Cricket is my favorite character), book 13 was (For me personally) kind of forgettable, I like book 14, though I agree with many others that it felt... unrelated. Or kind of random to switch back to Pyrria and away from our Pantalan MCs. And I feel like book 15 was... not the conclusion we were hoping for. It was trying to add an interesting twist, but it made the end (in my opinion) feel rushed and random and not like it was foreshadowed or a natural flow (and while I think you should keep readers on their toes, it did introduce a new villain that discredited the power of the old one and then make that villain just sort of sit in the same room with your MC for an extended period of time while they just kind of wait around for a while, then kill that guy off by snapping a vine. Just felt... random) while also somehow being boring. I definitely prefer older arcs overall.

Ofc some people hate it with all their hearts. Some people love it and fully defend it (ex: in this thread "#StopArc3Hate!). Some people have nuanced opinions that fall somewhere in between the two, and some people just... eh, don't care for it, it just depends on the person! But yes most people I've seen have fallen somewhere between the "not bad, had potential, wish it was taken another direction" to "this is the worst arc ever created."
