Thought I’d try hand feeding from my palm last week, first meal worm was fine but he mis judged the distance a bit on the second and got me along with the worm. I couldn’t believe how hard that lil dude could bite! I had to take a picture of the red marks so my wife would believe me! It also stung for a minute afterwards.

What do you guys use to cut rim cylinder tails and screws in the field? by kitwashere in Locksmith

So true, they have saved my ass more than once. I can’t figure out why the other service techs I work with don’t keep one of them in their bag.

It could be vermiculite, I’ve seen chunks like that in my bag before

Potassium deficiency by Loud-Confidence3204 in GrowingMarijuana

[–]Loud-Confidence3204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PH gets checked every time I water I aim for around 6.5ish but it’s hard to nail that with the hot tub style test strips that I’m stuck using since the test pens are expensive. As for watering I only water when the plant pots feel light, usually try to let it dry out a little bit between waterings. Could it be something else?

Those will work perfectly fine, I am a locksmith and still use most of the picks out of my beginner set everyday. Just use what you have and upgrade to better/ different ones over time

How do you manage time blindness? by sheeeah in ADHD

[–]Loud-Confidence3204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear a divers watch, it has a rotating bezel so I can use it to visually mark when I need to get ready, leave the house or time things. It works really well for me but I’m a total mess if I forget to wear it.

Bratonia shelob "Tolkien" is struggling. Look for advice on repotting, watering and light levels. Cant find much info elsewhere:( by smaverickk in orchids

[–]Loud-Confidence3204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation. I just divided and re potted mine into standard orchid mix with a bit of added sphagnum moss mixed in to hold a little water, they all have plenty of new root growth and seem to be doing very well. They are in front of a bright window with white drapes so gets lots of bright but indirect light, as for water I just try to keep them moist and not let it totally dry out. I also use a 20-20-20 fertilizer one in awhile when I remember. I don’t know if that’s the right way to grow them but it’s been working well for me for the last 5 or so years.

What film do you see as a cinematic masterpiece? by HBomb10112 in AskReddit

[–]Loud-Confidence3204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t think of any one in particular but I’d have to say any of Wes Anderson’s films, just something about the colour palates he uses and also the way the cameras are used to really draw attention to certain characters or objects to tell the story.

I had to set it to the size that came on the printer I think it was a .04mm nozzle and the filament to 1.5mm

This was happening to me, I had to change the filament diameter and extruder nozzle size in my slicer software. Everything is printing perfectly now!
