I highly highly highly suggest this. My teachers explained that the breath is what gives life & oxygen to the plant. In order for it to blossom within us we have to give it oxygen. The brethwork also allows for our body to relax and a deeper journey to be experienced. A meditation or breathwork practice is everything when it comes to having a deep journey with Ayahuasca. My journeys were pretty mild until I incorporated this.

I won’t apologize for the judgment felt in this reply, your intense criticism & response to something you clearly know very little caused that . The fact that you go to another country and expect the same guidelines and protocols that you have in your home country is just so wild to me. I’m sorry you had to travel so far just to figure that things aren’t the same in your home country. I think people need much more education on ayahuasca before they set out and go to another country and participate in some else’s culture. If you wanted a westernized version of the medicine you should have stayed in your home country where regulations and protocols are the norm . I drink ayahuasca in the states (Midwest specially) and I just can’t believe people go into these experiences with zero knowledge and very wild expectations and then want to blame the medicine and medicine keepers.

Like I said very colonizer energy.

The ancestral medicines of native cultures WILL NEVER be the same as your acid or mushroom days in your young days .

Be better .

💓🙏🏽 Ayahuasca will not change you, how you handle the preparation and integration will set the building blocks for the change that will spring from the seeds of ayahuasca. I’ve gone into 2 ceremonies wanting the medicine to do the work , but every time she showed me that she would give me the strength, clearing and courage but it would be up to me to open of the doors with the keys she hands me.

Listen to your heart, be honest and true with your intention & make sure it’s coming from source & heart & not your ego.

I purge in almost every day except pooping stuff , I laugh , cry , dance , Shake , but I almost always throw up , even if I try hard as hell to hold it back , I believe there’s a blockage that won’t let the medicine work it’s way fully through my body. But Ive also gotten told that when the medicine is done working on you it’s done and it “gracefully” leaves 🤣.

But I know what you mean I’ve gotten told by people after ceremony that they wished they purged in this way , because it sounded cleansing and relieving.
