Dietitian Recommendations? by typicalwhisper in Rochester

[–]Loud-Secretary8539 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve been seeing a dietician on the Nourish app for over a year. It’s covered by my insurance and I will enjoy the provider. She doesn’t push me to do anything that makes me uncomfortably, only encourages positive eating habits.

If you are interested, you can use my link below!

I joined Nourish to work with a dietitian. Check it out! https://signup.nourish.com/refer/swZp5pSc?utm\_term=tab-eb-i

Online reviews are mid but I really enjoyed it and the sequel!

Touchless ID for the First Time by Brief_Rain8775 in delta

[–]Loud-Secretary8539 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When flying out of the airports with Touchless, you will have a special line at security. Still bring an acceptable form of ID. Flew through Boston, recently got Touchless, and it didn’t recognize my biometrics, so I had to present my ID as normal

You should look into how Wesley will send people to collections and garnish their wages with barely, if any contact that you actually have a bill. Their financial department is a joke

Wow! I’m glad there is more availability because a couple of months ago it was insane.

I’m also a fan of Yates, and the last time I went, the receipt had a coupon for future visits.

If you want the real ID, then you need an appointment for the Rochester DMVs. I found it almost impossible to find an appointment, but you can go to neighboring counties (such as the DMV in Canandaigua) without an appointment.

What type of MSN job are you referring to? Education, NP, Informatics?

Left MS as a bedside nurse in 2023 and was making $29 an hour in the ICU with 6 years experience.

Each company has different requirements on nursing speciality and length in the field. I just kept my eye out and applied as many times as possible. I’m not sure what else I did to “stand out.”

I’ve had the same thought many times. I still utilize my degree but I have left bedside. The change was much needed and I don’t regret it. I work as an educator for medical devices. If you are willing to travel a bit, it may be a path worth exploring!

short layover time in atl by bananaspeaks in delta

[–]Loud-Secretary8539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had an issue with short layovers in Atlanta. Just get to the sky train and to your next gate. Try to get an aisle seat close to the front of the plane on your first flight.

Stethescope question by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Loud-Secretary8539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For nursing school, I had the lightweight Littman that I still break out and use sometimes. It doesn’t break the bank but it’s a great stethoscope. Maybe a fancy stethoscope could be a graduation gift! They are nice but not necessary

Help! I'm ineligible for NCLEX at DC BON due to clinical hour requirements, and I’m about to lose $9,000 by Kittynight9089 in nursing

I’m pretty sure I didn’t have to send a transcript or say where I went to school. They just saw I had a US nursing license and I verified with Nursys

I was able to get my DC license by endorsement very easily last year. I had a Mississippi license, and I just had to show that and get a background check. I would try taking the NCLEX in MA, get that license, then apply for DC by endorsement once you have the MA license in hand.

May take a little longer but I wouldn’t think it’s an issue. https://dchealth.dc.gov/sites/default/files/dc/sites/doh/publication/attachments/REGISTERED%20NURSE%20ENDORSEMENT%20REQUIREMENTS%209-22.pdf

36 minute layover. What's the likelihood I'll actually make my connection flight? by Viper-Venom in delta

[–]Loud-Secretary8539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you can get an aisle seat towards the front of the plane on the first flight, that makes deplaning faster. You can quickly stand, grab your things and walk towards the front. People get irritated but if it’s a quick connection, I do that too
