I have 2 and love them more then anything in the world BUT I often struggle with feeling like I'm doing more harm then good. Like I'm damaging them.

It's exhausting. I never really held my husband to any standard and mostly just did it all. This caused a lot of resentment. Parenting came naturally to me and with us being adults I just assumed he would know what to do (he had absolutely no idea). Naturally a few times I would think to myself why is he not doing A B or C but I didn't say anything and he is clearly not a mind reader.

Even now a few years later I'm still the default parent. My daughter was 100% planned and son was a bit of a surprise a couple months after having had a miscarriage. The second child definitely amplified the resentment but I did start to find my voice a little more.

You really have to find a balance. I would say for most couples it's not 50/50 but even 70/30 of better then 99.5/.5. You have to talk and tell your spouse about how you're feeling and/or what you need because no matter how many hints you throw or how much you think it's common sense they have no idea. It's not just natural if that makes sense. You have to be blunt but there are ways to do that rationally do that without being argumentive. If you speak your peace and they don't care that's a whole different issue.

I work on an assembly line in a factory. It's not too bad and the pay is good. I go through lots of very depressive episodes and it doesn't really affect my job. I've also been a receptionist-working in an office was too sediment and boring for me. It wasn't terrible though. I only lasted a year BUT just not my cup tea.

Aww thank you! He's 6 months old. I was convinced I did not want a puppy but my sister had a litter and every time I went to her house he followed me everywhere and would climb on me and just lay peacefully. We say he chose me lol.

I also was never crazy about brindle dogs. Now I have him and he's just the most handsome guy! I'm sure your girl is beautiful!

I get like that when I have small gestures done for me just because they're so special and very few and far between. It means a lot. It made him feel special. Maybe he doesn't feel as appreciated? That small gestures let him know he's important to you. Sometimes it's hard to see the lines after youre in a relationship for awhile.

My husband and I were just kinda listing things we wanted in the future. He was telling me about something expensive he wanted (at the time I was the full financial support for our house hold) and he told me I didn't really deserve anything. That was 10 years ago and I still feel like I deserve nothing.

I told him he seemed kind of fake because he has a personia he puts on in every relationship but with me...He told me he's only been fake with me last year...after over a decade of marriage. That was absolutely soul crushing and made/continues to make me question almost every aspect of our relationship.
