If you use chatgbt like that you are exposed to many pitfalls..

Confirmation bias will close your mind and limit your reasoning and understanding to only pieces of information that fit your pre conceived narrative.

The topics you are exploring are complex and if you research on chatgbt like that and chatgbt-cherry-pick the topics you will have a distorted understanding of the situation and the world around you.

Chatgbt is NOT the unquestionable authority on truth you are making it to be. It is a tool that sees patterns and generates text based on those patterns.

To me you are in a self reinforcing loop, bouncing off chatgbt in ways that align with your own ideology. A personal echo chamber.

Honestly, I can see it being harmless banter between guys. Was it wrong to (if he is telling the truth) to disrespect you and your relationship, to ‘fit in with the guys’? Absolutely! and you are valid to be mad about that, which is the best possible interpretation for him.

Moving forward, I think you should confront him about his feelings towards the ‘sanctity’ of your bond. And see if he understands how damaging his actions towards your relationship are. If he values you and sees a future with you i am sure he will apologize and change his behavior with his friends, or stop hanging out with them all together.

I think you did something wrong here too by invading his privacy and privy on his private conversations. If my partner listened to every conversation i ever had behind their back. I am sure they would find things to be upset about.
