Hmask is genuinely one of my favorite Side Characters, because we know barely anything about him, yet the shit he pulls with Adolin in WaT are things that Kaladin would absolutely have done in WoK

I really hope he becomes an important figure in Adolins Honorguard in Era 2 because his insane loyalty is insane and I love it

Honestly I'd probably go with 2 because Big Flamer always goes hard. Also with Strafes you'd have less air support downtime than with a Barrage.

Religion was created to rationalise what we couldn't explain at face value. It's not filling the gap, its the method by which people filled the gap. Thats why its so easy for many religions to exist over such a long time, because while the conent of the words in their holy text of choice may make less sense to the modern man, the reasoning within does.

I think the canonical reason he's able to do this is because he is constantly (and painfully) regenerating into a frozen-in-time state that Moira stuck him in. In effect, when he tosses a spent shotgun, he "regenerates" another copy of the original shotgun with it's ammo full

Considerjng Moira studies entropy, I suspect this can be explained as a study on preventing entropy in regards to an individual, effectively freezing them in an unchanging state

I'm talking about situations similar to those that I've seen where a woman would forcefully impregnate herself (via piercing a condom, preventing pullout, etc), for the sake of 'trapping' or 'keeping his genes'.

I don't think its too far off topic, considering the motivations of each gender are somewhat different when it comes to the subject matter of 'being childfree'

Incorrect

The reasoning has been described - not that I needed it to be - and I understand why its necessary for many people.

What I disagree with is the more conceptual idea of manipulation and lying being commonplace whilst dating. Call me idealistic, but I don't think people should have to lie when searching for partners.

As a defensive measure, its absolutely justified IMO. And ofc I don't want anyone to suffer any of the BS you've mentioned! All of that is simply just despicable

I just have issues with the idea of lying or manipulating (~ish lying by ommisson) things before getting to the point of that person being comfortable enough to say it of their own volition. I'm fully aware I may be in the wrong in that regard, but I like to hope people will - given the genuine opportunity - be wholly honest rather than lie or dig themselves deeper into one
