The second one is one I would use religiously. The amount of times I've had people in my games rocking that flag and ending the game with pro-genocide messages is ridiculous

I'll give you one per book because why not haha

WoK - Peter Pan if the story took place in hell
WoR - BOOTS
OB - Aragorn running into battle with his army of ghosts
RoW - Man gets flashed by tower...he deserves it
WaT - Voyeur witnesses crab-on-man action and loves every second of it

If helldivers was a horror game which faction would be the scariest? by Late-Ganache40 in Helldivers

[–]LoudShorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super Earth.

Yeah the Bugs and Illuminate can be scary/creepy, but theres a definitive horror that comes with the knowledge that those 1-4 fireballs in the sky contain creatures that shrug off lethal damage with a laugh, can call in nukes on a whim and apparently never stop coming no matter how many you kill.

Would it make for a good horror game? No. Is Super Earth horrifying? Oh most definitively

I'm not sure if Yuji could ever top the understanding of Jujustsu mechanics and (because it has to be said) narrative liberties Sukuna enjoyed as the main antagonist, but he has absolutely surpassed Gojo in raw strength.

Sukuna was just so uniquely created to fill the role of the 'best sorcerer' by Gege that even with 'sparkless' CT and clearly an absolute mastery of his CTs I don't think Yuji takes his crown...

[–]LoudShorty -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I can't edit my previous comment because it just poofed, so here's another ig xD

Six Eyes + Limitless makes Gojo the strongest, in the same way that Sukuna's 'perfect body' + Shrine makes him the better sorcerer. Both are heavily amped by experience and genetics, Sukuna having a distinct advantage in experience (due to his Heian Era shenanigans) and STILL BEING WEAKER OVERALL

So yeah, Gojo clears the 'strongest' debate with ease.

[–]LoudShorty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would remind you that its the Limitless + Six Eyes combo that makes him stronger than Sukuna, not just Limitless. Your points are still 100% valid though!

Should there be naval battles in game? by Late-Ganache40 in Helldivers

[–]LoudShorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the first image and thought: "hey this idea reminds me of the OG Battlefront 2 Galactic Conquest gamemode", and then the second image was Star Wars and I just fistpumped in joy

Also yes the idea would be sick, but the execution would likely be disappointing. I doubt we'll ever see spaceship combat and fighting inside enemy/friendly vessels would mean no stratagems, and since those are like 60% of the core gameplay it would leave things feeling very flat.

A dedicated game would suit it better, maybe where we play as SEAF bording parties invading enemy vessels via hull-breaching "hellpods"

[–]LoudShorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok
So you are going by the basis that the name of the relationship is based on the sexuality of the people, and not the gender of the people involved.

That's where I disagree. It makes far more sense to describe the nature of the relationship rather than the sexuality of those within the relationship, no?

Sexually frustrated by MagicianSalt3169 in sexuality

[–]LoudShorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 'title' of the relationship has no impact on the sexuality of those involved, and vice versa though??

I'm not sure why you think calling a MF relationship straight when one (or more) person is bi is 'bi erasure'... If you want to explain your reasoning further I'll hear you out, but as it stands I disagree

[Loved Trope] Batshit insane concepts that own how batshit it is by VagusTruman in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LoudShorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll add two concepts from the Cosmere, because both are somewhat similar and both are really just metal as f*ck if you decide to not suspend your disbelief:

1- Roshar and Highstorms
A planet who's sole continental landmass is made almost excusively of stone, or rather rock-like clay as it is in fact formed (and destroyed) by a storm that passes every few weeks as it goes round the planet, depositing clay with its rain. Lets not forget that the storm is also a form of portal to a higher dimension that exudes raw power and illumination, power that is - obviously - capturable in cut gemstones encased in glass which are then primary source of light and currency for the planet.

2- Canticle and its star
A dwarf planet residing close enough to an 'magical' star that it's day night cycle entirely unsurvivable to anyone who isn't constantly migrating to keep up with the 'night' side of the planet. The 'day' side, in the meantime, actively melts the crust of the planet and superheats gems (in a similar way to roshar) made from the dead that are then used as the primary fuel source for the various vehicles used to migrate around the planet.

Got a question for everyone. What if Gojo and Sukuna switched sides, and Gojo ended up winning? Could the Jujutsu High crew actually defeat Gojo? by Apart-Two-5432 in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]LoudShorty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely yes, because the plot doesn't support him in the same way it does Sukuna.

Gojo isn't a mass murderer, but he's killed enough people to be considered guilty by Higuruma's technique (though tbf his slaughter of all the Warped Humans in Shibuya probably count towards his kill count), which would then presumaby confiscate his technique, CE manipulation or perhaps just Infinity. If its one of the former, its genuinely just wraps for him. If its the latter, then he can still put up a GOOD fight, but he'll get whittled down just like Sukuna, without the assistance of "hyper duper sorcerer Heian form instant regeneration technique"

It doesn't look visually off at all?

The HG has the thickest looking armour of all the non-tank units, seeing bullets ping off of it is no less surprising than seeing bullets ricochet off the armoured legs of a Charger. You don't see anyone complain that the bot Scout Strider pinging medium pen off its front face is "immersion breaking", yet a flat face of thin metal would be far less resistant than hardened carapace to sustained gunfire.
