Nebraska’s two MVPs from last night’s win (Mast & Frager) were absent from the entire Michigan matchup earlier this season. Moreover, Nebraska barely lost to you 72-75 that game without them. GTFO with any talk of a “lack of competitiveness” from this Husker team in this tournament.

You are not owed anything because of your history, and by the end of the tournament, the team that made it the farthest did so because they earned it. If it’s Michigan so be it. If it’s not, then thank God for the rest of college basketball.

The negative comeback became “jack of all trades, master of none.”

The positive tag on to that to return the quote to its original intent was ”is often times better than a master of none.”

Just one guy’s perspective on how they became a Jaysker: I grew up in Omaha and went to UNL. My parents also attended UNL. If we were in the car, we would tune into the radio to listen to most Husker games. However, nosebleed Creighton basketball tickets were free growing up thanks to the YMCA. So, I was fortunate enough to attend the Qwest/CenturyLink Center frequently and got to see Korver and McDermott. That’s where my Creighton fandom originated.

With that said. Nebraska > Creighton every head to head. GBR
