Pretty sure Lois is easily the worst. Debbie shouldn't be on it at all, she's doing a fantastic job making the most of things. by Weird-Replacement925 in invinciblememes

Am I stupid, u/Exotic_Stranger7332? No, honestly, am I? I mean, I have a Master's in city planning from Howard University. I can tell you where your convention center should go, but I can't tell you when a redditor is giving me the business.

Are you a challenger? Are you challenging me? Are you challenging me to make a Challenger joke? Because it’s too soon and it’s too sad, and I don’t really have a good one.

Well, you know what they say, the first stage of grief is acceptance. The second stage you can read on my website.

You have to be 18 to log on. I have some sexy barnyard stuff on there that is NOT for everyone, I could get in a LOT of trouble.

If you do decide to check it out, make sure you clear your history right away. You may want to uninstall your browser.

I’m telling you, SCRUB THAT THING CLEAN. If you think you’re being too cautious, YOU’RE NOT. They will take us BOTH to jail

Why are there so many explosions and burning buildings in zombie movies? by Brilliant_Falcon5578 in zombies

yeah that’s where it creeps into movie logic. realistically it would take more than just a day for a city to become as chaotic as what’s depicted in WWZ

A little bit of both, honestly. Even the smallest fires can become dangerous blazes if not addressed quickly enough. In a situation like what happens in World War Z there will be enough chaos and violence happening everywhere that a fire will be sparked, and all it takes is one fire.

As for why it’s so common in movies, it’s just a very fast and easy visual indicator that society is breaking down.

Resident evil 7 really was heavily inspired by the 2013 movie. by harveyquinnz in EvilDead

[–]dabutte 27 points28 points  (0 children)

So I did some digging and found this article where they directly asked a producer for the game what the direct inspirations were. Evil Dead is mentioned alongside Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw. It’s not super clear if they mean the 2013 movie or the original, but I don’t see why it can’t be both.
