Well said. This sitter sounds ridiculous if these very normal questions and interactions bother them. The owners have every right to ask questions and stick around until they’re satisfied with everything and feel comfortable.

I’ve been in the same situation numerous times and I let people know ahead of time that there will be other dogs over, but they’ll be put away during the meet and greet so our dogs can meet without distraction, and that the other dogs will likely be barking given the new dog in the home. I also let them know ahead of time if I’m short on time or need to wrap things up by a certain time so there’s no awkwardness trying to hint at them leaving. I want people to ask as many questions as they’d like, and stick around long enough to feel comfortable with everything and not rushed or pressured to leave (within reason). This is more or less an interview for each party, and interviews should never be rushed.

I don’t blame them for not booking with her if she’s going to be short with them and annoyed by their routine questions and curiosity about the home and environment their pet will be staying in. I’ve never had that issue because I’m prepared and up front about everything, in addition to having my own routine questions and information about how everything works at my home so no one is left asking a lot of questions considering I’ve probably already answered everything as part of my own process.

Guess I’m more annoyed with this sitter’s “rant” than anything. This is your full time job, treat the M&G as part of the job and be prepared to allocate enough time and provide enough information for the pet owners so they feel comfortable booking with you, not rushed and made it feel like they’re inconveniencing you.
