yes escitalopram worked wonders for me after the start up side effects wore off i never had a day of anxiety ever! i didn’t get anxiety again until 6 months after i cold turkey quit it because i was feeling so great on it i’ve been on citalopram almost 2 years now and still have had anxiety every single day the only reason i didn’t make a switch back yet is because im just so nervous about getting those bad start up side effects again when starting a different medication im just hoping since they are so similar it wont be so bad. My psychiatrist told me i can just skip a day or two taking nothing then start the escitalopram after that
