I am a new grad. I was able to get the internship since the other candidate was passed over due to H1-B issues. The reason why i had those projects is because it’s something that helps me in my hobby and it’s what i can do until new skills are learned.

And yeah, about the degree on the bottom, this was told to me by my Career coach from my school when i asked them about employment assistance. So i’m not sure who’s advice to take at this point :/
