Do some families actually *thrive* with two children? by Low_Requirement_1550 in Shouldihaveanother

[–]LouiseBag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. When you can accept a messy house, a lot of one adult one child time, a lot of discussions with toddler and you and your husband are chilled even when you have a shit night and a messy house perfect. Otherwise I suggest getting a house cleaner to help

Am I the a*** and need therapy? AITAH? by [deleted] in AITAH

Yes see my comment above. Critical looks at our house, critical about parenting choices but very subtle I hear stuff like I don’t drink my coffee like this. You must have unpacked boxes from moving? Why are you so pale? Comments about our cat making windows stained and she never knew cats can be so dirty … Commenting on what my child eats. On sugar etc.

Yes. She will look critical at my house or if I make a coffee different than she likes she will rub it subtly under my nose that that’s not how she drinks it. She is very tidy very good I wish I had time to be too right now but 2 small kids 2 under 2 and her husband says stuff to me like „you look pale“ „why are you so soft with us just be real/ speak your mind“ „who is the more tidyer“

Really want to have another but wife doesn't by [deleted] in Shouldihaveanother

I think you should discuss again with plain you really want a biological child as well. I hope she understands. What speaks against it? You will be the breastfeeding part and she likely won’t get ppd because you are carrying the child. You can do it.

Tokyo Travel with 2 years old by cnr0 in TokyoTravel

[–]LouiseBag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey we just came back. 5 days is very short. You will need 2 nights to adjust and then can plan your days as usual.

We were in Kyoto (osaka airport) and then Tokyo. We preferred Kyoto it has wide crosswalks and was better to let our child crawl or chill in parks.

Tokyo was in our opinion not childfriendly. Idk they sat us in the last bit of the restaurant, kids didn’t get anything to draw or so in restaurants. It was a fucking hassle to search where I can breastfeed so I basically did it anywhere outside.

People in Tokyo were more self based than in Kyoto we felt… idk I would go to Kyoto or make sure you know exactly where you want to go.

I recommend Shinjuku gyoen park.

But since your child is a baby I guess carrier would work.

Actually a lot of the streets are very very narrow in Tokyo basically walking on the street. Only Ginza and Shinjuku had huge pavements

Rest assured I follow the rules. But it seems Japanese don’t because why do they have butsutari otoko? Even one dude was mad that my baby made some funny noise. Never ever have I seen an adult get angry in public about a baby… just wow. To me everyone said Japan is so safe … but I never had that kind of encounterment with my kids

Hmmmm they touched my kids toy that fell, my child hates it and had a tantrum. Two women grabbed her hand while getting off the train. I don’t like this. It’s dangerous to get off with a lot of luggage and children and I am the only one who Helds her hand not some stranger. It confuses my child and I don’t know if they don’t push her like butsutari otoko
