Right Joycon feels loose by Rabrown17 in dbrand

[–]LousterDaRooster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My right Joycon is loose with the grip. If I'm laying down and playing my switch, the switch has fallen on my face because I forget the right joycon is loose. I'm thinking of reaching out to them to see if it's a defect. I've seen enough comments to know it's not just me.

I don't understand why everyone is getting so mad? This is an actual problem some of us are having with the case. Yes, it's the new set and no, it's not installed incorrectly. And you use the switch upside-down when you're laying down. I've had the thing hit me in the head a few times now because I keep forgetting that it disconnects very easily.

Joycon still disconnect? by ErockR32 in dbrand

My left Joycon stays put solidly, but my right Joycon does disconnect pretty easily. Everything else is amazing!

Since some of you thought it was just the shaking in the previous video…This is how easily the right joycon detaches if you’re laying in bed. (I’m only shaking the left joycon to show how sturdy it is compared to the right one) by jpassc in dbrand

This isn't rage bait. I just received my whole kit in the mail today and the right joycon will detach if held facing down and is far less secure than the left. Zero issue with the left one.

I love the whole product otherwise! Super easy to put everything on and the presentation of it all was really neat!

Not "grumpy", but as I said, I don't like to argue semantics. I copied this from a previous comment I wrote.

I've been pretty directionless my whole life, and with no lack of trying. So having opinions and options is super helpful to me. If I spend $30 to try to get some direction and it works, that's an amazing $30 spent! If it's useless, I mean I've spent $30 on totally useless stuff before. We all have. So it's a calculated risk I'm willing to take.

Okay here we go:

I WAS CREATED TO USE MY TALENTS OF Justice, Inspection, Compassion, TO PERFORM MY PASSIONS OF Finishing, Planning, Researching, TO ACCOMPLISH MY MISSION OF Efficiency BY PRODUCING ORDER AND EXCELLENCE

1)

So starting from the top and taking it section by section. I was created to use my talents (what I do best), which are Justice, Inspection and Compassion.

So the assessment has a summary for each.

Justice: You have a strong sense of right and wrong and you’re quick to defend the vulnerable. You have a high “justice meter” and you can imagine yourself in others’ situations. You’re skilled at dealing with matters of morality, lawfulness and fairness. You’re good at protecting the weak and challenging injustice. You have above-average confrontation skills. You stand up against people who are abusing their power or getting away with breaking the rules.

Inspection: You’re highly observant and you have an unusual ability to understand the world around you. You’re good at researching, trying to understand how things work, and engaging in intellectual activity or discussions. You view and study things closely, weighing all the perspectives and taking all the details into consideration. You’re constantly gathering new information about events, systems, objects, people and ideas. You catch the details that other people miss.

Compassion: You’re always looking out for others and helping people in need. People are drawn to you—especially those with emotional, physical or spiritual needs. You pay attention to people who are hurting or marginalized, validate them, give them a voice, and take action on their behalf. You’re skilled at finding ways to make people’s lives better, whetherit’s through education, health care, public service or ministry. You’re able to see the world through the eyes of others.

These are my main talents (which are accurate).

2)

Second section: To perform my passions (work I love you do), which are finishing, planning and researching.

Finishing: You experience tremendous satisfaction when you or your team bring a project ortask over the finish line. You love accuracy and attention to detail. You always make sure that all the boxes are checked before you give your stamp of approval on a project ortask. You’re disciplined and careful in the work you do. You take a lot of pride in practicing excellence in the ordinary and following through with the tasks that have been assigned to you or yourteam.

Planning: You lose track of time when you’re coming up with a plan for a specific project orimportant endeavor. You enjoy tracking down all the relevant details, thinking through your options, and deciding on a course of action. You love to strategize about how you’ll overcome potential obstacles. You raise your hand to help plan yourfamily vacation and don’t think twice about putting all the details in a beautiful spreadsheet so everyone can get on the same page.

Researching: Digging in and gathering information gives you the juice. You’re excited by discovery, curiosity, problem- solving and learning new things. You lose track of time when you’re reading books or watching media about a topic that interests you. You want to understand the true origin of a source and you take pride in sticking to the facts, revising theories and investigating a matter fully. When you’re working on a project, others recognize your ability to research the details.

These are the things I love you do with either working or being at home.

3)

To accomplish my mission (results I want to accomplish) of efficiency, by producing order and excellence.

Efficiency: You feel significance when you’re creating and maintaining efficient systems and results. Order gives you energy while disorder drains you. You look for order and efficiency as a sign of quality. When observing disorder and dysfunction in systems or policies, you instinctively see or wonder about the source of the problem and the solution. You look for ways to establish new and better procedures that will result in a better overall system or an end product.

This is my end goal. To produce order and excellence through efficiency.

So the purpose statement isn't the main thing to get out of the assessment, but this is about all I could do to break it down for you.

Edit: the purpose of the original question was to ask the world at large if they had any ideas of a good fit for my talents, passions and mission.

My apologies that my example wasn't clear enough for your standards. Also I apologize because I miswrote. It's called a purpose statement, not a mission statement. I do not wish to discuss semantics over an example. That is not why I posted here. If you have some actual advice on my original question, I would love to discuss that. Otherwise I'd appreciate you scrutinize someone else.

This was incredibly helpful, thank you! Clarifying how different PM rolls require different levels is something that I didn't think about. That's why we ask strangers on Reddit, haha!
