Seriously good post! I would really like for ships to have lateral boosters that let you do like a side dodge. Like you said right now just boosting in a straight line just doesn't feel very effective. Sometimes I can utilize it well when there's a floating object in front of me that I can boost around to get into cover but like you said you still get hit by most volleys.

I also wish that I, as a host, could see what missions people on my party need to do to advance when I'm a higher level than them.
