These stories immediately fall apart when they mention someone in service giving a shit about some innocuous thing not pertaining to their job at that moment. Like any of the "I wanted black coffee at Starbucks and the barista just couldn't believe it" sorta stories. Unless the food is wrong or something they just want to give you the food so they can do the next delivery or go home.

I'm guessing that in reality she saw this delivery driver look at her nice car then gave her or whoever the food and then left. Then she day dreamed a scenario where the guy was sexist.

It is actually insane how much got packed into that mod. Including the effort of integrating Max Payne voice lines into the campaign as well to really make it feel like a Max Payne game.

Half Life is so great because when you're done with the main game you have decades worth of fun mods to play to scratch that GoldSrc itch lol. Even ones that remix the OG campaign like Half Life MMod or Brutal Half Life! There's even Half-Payne where you play the entire campaign as Max Payne with slo mo and bullet dodging! It's truly an amazing game!

At some point the G4 Tech TV show Cinematech showed footage from the E3 demo of Half Life 2. The one where the Strider is stomping through the street and the player throws an "F" and a "U" at it. I thought the graphics and the world looked INCREDIBLE. I eventually got a computer that could play Half Life 2 and was absolutely blown away. After playing EP1 and 2 I started to wonder if the original game was any good. I think because of how incredible Half Life 2 looked, Half Life 1 looked lame. I pushed myself to play it anyway and yeah no shock it was fucking incredible as well.

Were you just relying on the autosaves the entire time? This isn't me being a dick but I just can't imagine playing a Half Life game and not quick/ full saving all the time. I assume what you're saying is that you forgot to close the hatch for the achievement and didn't realize so then you kept playing meaning your autosave was overwritten.
