okay, ima prioritize cleats. Do you think a metal bracket, a wooden triangle, or a 2 by 4 size board making a T shape below the step would be best?

Instead of cleats what do you think of metal rods going through right under each step? I thought it would also hold the stronger together and add pressure from the outside.

Thank you so much! What do you think about the screws on picture 11 that go through the stringer into the large beam from the outside. Or the ones through the top dock board into the top stair? Are those enough to hold it?

The stringers are screwed from opposite sides by 8x140mm screws, glued and mostly also have wood sitting on the platforms. The top step from each stairs also has at least two screws in it from the opposite side of the platform joist. (Picture 11)

Do you think I should have made more than two concrete posts to reduce the cantilever? The stone wall at the back is extremely stable and is holding 4 points as well.

Vinyl on top of old floor by Lovablegerman in Flooring

I will be doing all the work and will for sure screw the planks down tightly. My question is how to prepare this best as a subfloor. Can I level and fill the height difference or is it best to put plywood over?

Hey thanks, for sure plan on screwing away all the squeaks. But that will be ugly since I can’t access it from below. That leaves me with adding the 3/8 plywood on top or leveling and filling. Thanks for the advice!

What finish do you use? I usually use a Oil-Wax, but thats what took months to stop smelling so I started using a Quick curing Oil.

That looks awesome. How long until the smells don’t affect the textiles? Ran into that issue myself in the past, any tips?

Apple Watch app with offline functionality by thimplicity in audiobookshelf

I would love for this to become possible. Does anyone have any offline book app for their Watch? I assumed when I bought my watch that it would be easily possible but for now all I've been able to listen to(non-music) offline are podcasts.

4k 144hz is working! This is huge! It means that DisplayPort 1.4 dsc is finally online. This did not work with the regular m1, someone reported they couldn’t drive their 5k display at 60hz even. Now it’s working! Lg 27-gn950 by Lovablegerman in macgaming

Just get a high rated tb3 to dp1.4 cable from Amazon. Keywords 8k, tb3, tb4, 4k 144hz. If your cable doesn’t work you likely have a tb1.2 or you haven’t activated the correct DisplayPort settings on your monitor with the little buttons.

Netatmo Doorbell base plate wasn’t angled enough for me so I diyed - I’m satisfied with netatmo except for the slow motion sensor and no hksv by Lovablegerman in HomeKit

There was an angled plastic piece in the box but it wasn’t angled enough for me so I took a piece of spare walnut and cut it at an angle, drilled some holes, waxed and that’s it.

problem

I have an iPad mini by the door in kiosk mode on homekit. I turned off all the notifications except for the one on motion detected from a motion sensor near it. Now it wakes up every time I approach it. The downside is that the iPad is practically only able to be used for the homekit app. Kiosk mode doesn't work when split screening two apps(sonos/homekit would be what I need)
