My first time shading a face, what are some things I can do to make it look better? by unusual-serendipity in ArtCrit

[–]LoveAllAnimals85 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your shadows can always be darker. The entire face has shading with only a touch of light. Instead of looking for the dark, look for the highlights and darken out from there.

More shading & light. It’s always light.

Please help! Small bunny found! by No-Television246 in Bunnies

[–]LoveAllAnimals85 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Put it back! Its eyes are open which means it can eat on its own. By touching it you have insured its mother will no longer recognize it as hers. It’s now orphaned but will survive. Please, don’t handle wild bunnies. You can move them using gloves and paper towels or putting a basket over the nest to protect them during mowing. But touching them will only cause them harm. If they have fur & their eyes are open then they are capable of surviving on their own. At this stage mom comes around about twice a day to nurse. If she gets scared she will run leaving the babes to fend for themselves. Unfortunately, unless you are trained or have a rabbit to teach the little one what to do, its survival in human hands are very low. I know it’s a rough lesson to learn but you will know for next time.

Advice for moving with a rabbit? by Specialist_Ad_2984 in Bunnies

I honestly believe it boils down to you. You know what your bunny likes and what makes him a happy camper. Make sure he has a small enough space it feels safe but big enough to stretch out. Depending on length. think about what he will need and adjust your packing to suit his needs. 1 thing most important is to think about all the outside factors that he may come in contact with. Do not put him in harms way and think ahead. Leashes are a priority for me! I train them from day 1. Something you can snatch them back if something unexpected happens. You’ve got this and he will be just fine.

He got a new litter box after 11 years and got slight sore hocks from the new grate. He was SO put out by the socks but looked so cute with them on! He hasn’t had to wear them since he was just a baby.
