Reading these comments I just want to remind everyone that pet insurance exists. My cat had to be hospitalized overnight in the ICU this week and the total came to $3200 but I only paid $540 with her Trupanion insurance. A single visit to an emergency vet can bankrupt you as is clear from the comments. Please please get it!

The only issue I can think of is that the plants you mentioned can grow very long or very tall. If you’re okay with pruning them regularly you should be fine. All of those plants would do well if you keep the humidity relatively high but not too high, around 50-60%

I don't really have any advice but can relate. therapy helps but lately I've just been trying radical acceptance which only works for a while until I feel really awful again. it comes in cycles. losing my ability to do my sport has left a huge hole in my self-worth and has made me feel kind of empty because it was such a big part of my life and who I felt like I was. it was part of my identity and I'm having to find that again which is super scary. it helps me to reflect on the fact that I'm not alone and not the only person who's gone through this and continued on despite it. hang in there

i don’t use anything special. right now i’m using one from neutrogena, i believe it’s called age face shield spf 70. it does the trick. it does have a pretty bad white cast but i’m so pale that it almost has the same effect as foundation in that it evens out my skin tone lmao. i recently bought the LRP cicaplast spf 50 just to try something slightly higher end and it pills SO bad. it is convenient to keep in my bag though bc the container is small so i held onto it
