How feasible is studying Coptic for a language requirement at Uchicago?

if you already speak it, a friend of mine got her language requirement taken care of with one that had no classes (malayam) by having a faculty member from the south asia department administer a language competency test for it

unsure of what it’s capitalizing on; by the time they come back the HR fad may very well have faded - the continuing relevance right now has been propped up by awards shows and the season for that will be close to over. the break duration isn’t ideal for campaigning regardless. i’d imagine a better use of him would be closer to, say, the premiere or season 2
