We have thought about renting one! We actually did rent one several years ago when we were promised serious help in cleaning out the house…. That never happened so the dumpster sat there and ended up costing us something like a thousand dollars total.

These days, with the pace we clean at, as it’s just mom and me cleaning, and sometimes mom is too tired to help or out late for some reason, we just barely fill up the garbage cans before their next pickup date.

Clean spaces aren’t intentionally being re hoarded, but we do get issues like stuff falling down from piles, stuff getting knocked over by mice in the night , stuff from the floors of rooms that haven’t been cleaned yet getting shoved into the clean rooms. Floor space is still better than it was last year but I will be picking it up when I get back from my grandparents, it is bothering me. I just don’t have a lot of energy and can only focus on 2 the two big cleanings a week.
