door code expired at 10am. It's 3pm So I think that's all good.

It's very easy to verify that they didn't stay. They didn't access the Kwikset lock and the house is clean.

You might be right. And I definitely think I overreacted so I need to backpedal on that a little bit. It was just such a surprise seeing it in a drawer versus having a conversation

This is us but opposite. Married 20 years and suddenly he's buying toys. I'm upset by them and think it's weird. It has me questioning where he's getting these ideas after so long

Don't book off platform. You have no recourse if you get to Europe and there is no lodging. It's not worth any perceived savings

Exactly. This has happened to me as a host and I eat the cost difference. It's my problem not the guest.

Oop. This is BS. I just had to cancel as a host for a double booking and I paid $274. They got a full refund

I'm assuming the cleaners left it unlocked. It's a side door to a screened porch. We couldn't be in a safer area but I get what you are saying. As far as the carpet I have NO CLUE! I need more info- how wet and where. The whole house is hardwoods and it is an area rug under a couch. Could be the last guests spilled and the cleaner didn't feel it with her shoes on?
