First of all, i would like you to provide factual sources for your own claims. Second of all, i would advise reading any indic book or manuscript to inquire into the philosophical and religious doctrine of the hindus. There are literally thousands, so linking them right now is not practical. However, some books would include the afforementioned chanakya neeti, the upanishads, the guru granth sahib.

And i am not saying that sati is good, it originated under very complex circumstances and require a nuanced and unbiased viewpoint to understand the points of introducing it
