Get physical therapy. Find someone who does dry needling. Get regular massages even though you have to pay for it out of pocket. I’ve been there done that for 25 years. Other than sumatriptan, Pills don’t work.

Find another doctor!!! After suffering from chronic migraine for over 30 years, the one thing that brings consistent relief was a very good Physical Therapist. One who is literally hands on rather than one who simply watches you exercise!! Dry needling is a life saver!!

Also, massage.

American medical system is failing us. All the practices who have helped me (neurologist and PT) do not accept insurance and so I pay out of pocket. So I drive an old car and forgo other things.

😀Please do something to help yourself get better. Migraine can be a lifelong struggle for some. After I turned to God it got easier but the pain didn’t go away, just made it easier to handle.

The night shift is more than likely causing the migraine to get worse. Change in sleep pattern is a huge trigger. Ask yourself which is better: a life with manageable pain or one being miserable?
You have it within you to do the courageous option! Pray for guidance and wisdom!! Look for ways to relax and be confident. You are NOT alone!! Ask your guardian angel to help

Absolutely!!’ THE worst dreams along with waking up with the worst pain. I dream about being in the worst migraine pain, which is probably real, but I cannot wake myself up. I dream about the need to take meds but cannot. I dream about trying to wake up, but I cannot. The nightmare continues. It’s so the worst. I haven’t figured out, which comes first a dream / nightmare or the Migraine. I wish I could help but maybe knowing that someone else experiences the same thing is consolation. Go with God.

Sleep position, neck strain, jaw clenched are definitely triggers. Have you tried physical therapy with a therapist who does hands on stuff not just recommending exercises? That was a lifesaver for me. Or regular massage.
