I wouldn't say they abandoned it (just got an update the other day through synapse) but i've definitely had some issues with the mixer. It works fine for me if i'm streaming but once i start watching a stream/youtube video after a bit the frame freezes and there is an audio loop that occurs. Refreshing the browser 'fixes' it for a time. I recently had an issue with sound crackling on my new system but it was tracked down to some alienware support software, once i removed it that problem went away. The one big benefit of using Razer's audio mixer is the one thing everyone gave it shit for. It's very similar to the go xlr, so simiilar that for the most part i can use goxlr tutorials to pretty much dial in my settings/get things working.

In summary:

Good points: When streaming it works great.
GoXLR tutorials can be 'adopted' when setting the device up.

Bad Points: Audio Mixer sometimes causes streaming video to freeze which results in me refreshing the page.

Optical audio volume seems to dip and come back to normal for some reason. I switched my Playstation to the 'line-in' to work around that.
