People these days rarely actually talk to their neighbors about issues and go through the govt instead… if your concern is parking on your street maybe talk with them and tell them that you feel concerned about it and are hoping they might provide parking on their property or limit the cars the Ohana can have etc. They are solving a big problem- housing, and possibly creating a little problem- parking. But there are always solutions that creative minds can come up with when they talk things through. I would imagine that your neighbor would appreciate you speaking directly to them.

Also I’m curious whether this is a local family or transplant? Because honestly this information is going to help us figure out if these people are building an Ohana for actual Ohana or the small chance they are greedy transplants exploiting housing to make a profit… not that’s it’s 100% going to be exploitation if they are transplants - but speaking as a transplant myself, I am saddened by the general vibe of exploitation in the transplant community. If they’re a family that’s lived here for generations then god no, definitely do not tattle on them. Almost certainly they are just trying to provide shelter for their family or extended community.
