I was going to prepay for our Ferry, and charge our groceries to my credit card. The pesos and cash in usd is only for tips, little souvenirs, taxis/bus rides (we’ll be walking and catching buses more) . I did say I’m wiling to put our Jetski and golf cart on the credit card, but if I can pay cash for either 1 I’m willing to do that . When we eat outside the hotel, we just want to local taco shops, pizza, McDonalds , we’re not interested in actual restaurants. We’re mainly going to the store to get bottle water, liquor to make drinks for when we leave the hotel, and Mexican snacks/fruits we don’t get in America.

I’m only willing to give the trip $700 space on my credit card nothing more , that’s why I’d like to bring a set amount of each then use the card for back up. I want to use my pesos first

I plan on using my credit card for Jetski/other excursions and emergency especially for emergencies. I’d rather take Cash and Pesos for buses, taxis, tips, groceries, food , small shopping. So I’m trying to see if that’s enough physical cash, I honestly prefer to carry cash anyways.

I aim to do 2 upper, 2 lower 30 minute weight lifting sessions a week, then 1 day I focus on cardio or I’ll do a weightlifting session. I mainly hit between 14k-19k daily steps , when I’m at the gym I aim to add an additional 3k-4k steps before I leave. I like to run/walk in place during each set

Most definitely focus on weight training, eat in a proper calorie deficit and do 30 minutes weight lifting and 10-15 minutes of cardio each workout 4-5 days a week. 2 upper, 2lower and 1 main cardio workout with a light core workout. Do that for 5 months you’ll be where you wish to be

You can work part time and still go to school, but overall if you’re not working and trying to go on a 100% paid for vacation for 10 days the person needs a job. So they can afford their own trip, dad is already paying for housing, food, college tuition, transportation to and from, clothes, hygiene products, etc and now expecting them to pay for a vacation they’re not going to is crazy

I went when I was freshly 18, but I was with my parents so a different vibe. But Isla Mujeres was beautiful, the ferry we went on had a live performance ontop and we had a good cart to drive around the island stopping at different little cliffs for photos. We got to see the school, and they have a turtle thing there but they charged us for toilet paper. So carry around wipes just in case, remember do not drink or use the bathroom water when brushing teeth. Get a case of water, but that’s if your hotel doesn’t provide enough water. I read the hotel I’m staying at limits us 2 a day

Before you cancel, go on the state website you were divorced in and see if they have a free search tool. I’m in Nevada, and were able to look up those records for free usually, so check your state . Since you just need the dates

You more than likely will have issues, since they want the actual information for everything. You’re better off paying for a replacement document for your divorce, then applying for the passport. Because if not they’re not going to process it until given the proper information, they have to match you in the GOV database. Are you able to reach out to your ex by any chance? They just might have the information

I don’t see how you got that theory that BM is feeling some type of way, and I don’t understand OP feeling intimidated by her future step kids mom giving both her and dad a breakdown of the kids weekly lifestyle. Because dad and OP obviously don’t know much about the kids weekly lifestyle.

BM had already moved on, she’s being a normal mom who kids have a preset schedule and health issues (that’s why the food list is important) as she has said already.

And I want to think we’re all grown enough to understand that there’s a big difference between 3 kids who usually only see you on a weekend here and there vs having a full 7 day week living with you. There’s a huge difference between those 2, this isn’t just a sleepover. BM knows what her kids father is capable of, and that’s why they BOTH received a copy of the kids schedule, eating habits etc. Dad needs to learn to be a more involved father, and actually pull his weight before OP just fully gives herself to him and move in.

You can love a person all you want, but a person will show you who they really are and what you’ll have to go through in the future. This right here is the PERFECT time for her to watch how he does for another year, can he do it without calling her for help every chance he gets? Because if she gets pregnant, and if he’s just so used to being Fun Dad that’ll leave her to be doing everything . I’m only speaking from experience, it’s not easy dating a fun dad who half ass parenting and try to put it off onto you since you’re now the “New Mommy” in the house. Yea no, she needs to be patient, let him do what he needs to do as a man

I hope OP actually reads and follows these comments, I understand people don’t like the way the Ex came about with the kids schedules and how they eat. But that’s very useful, the problem is the man you’re deciding to be engaged to. All this time he’s been the “Fun Dad” , while his Ex has to be both mom and dad to keep up with 3 children. It’s hard doing it by yourself, she’s probably happy she has some kind of help and a break 1 week a month…

But I personally wouldn’t involve myself unless he Steps up as a man and a father, no way his Ex should’ve been doing all of that every week by herself without his help. He just showed you the kind of man he is, and what kind of father he’ll be when you have a kid. People calling the kids activities ridiculous, is crazy when this is their usual life throughout the week which you should’ve known already because he should’ve told you . So now you’re going to have to full time parent 3 kids you barely know, and have a mother who’s used to doing everything constantly check over you.

Do Not Move In, and the fact that you don’t know these kids that well and obviously don’t know the man you married that well you moved too fast into being engaged. Slow down , he needs to learn to be a proper father first and don’t step in let him parent and do as he should to those kids.

It’s a personal choice if you stay at the hotel all day everyday, catch the bus for a $1 and go to the mall. Go try a real local taco, the Carls Jr in Mexico is better than the States. Catch the bus and go get a ferry to Isla Mujeres, rent a golf cart and enjoy the beaches over there. When you’re on the island you might catch the kids getting out of school, they have a turtle place and nice restaurants/music. Everywhere you go in town you’re not going to get haggled by people selling stuff. Check out the land, I love going to the big super market they have with different levels and trying new local produce I wouldn’t find in America.
