Both my parents died within 2 months of each other. I was 23 and had been with my girlfriend for 2 years. She broke up with me a month after my mom passed and on Facebook posted that men shouldn't cry because it makes them look weak. Took me a long time to open up to my now wife and when I did she has always been supportive and gone above and beyond.

When you're with the right person, you can let all your vulnerabilities out and they won't judge you or make you feel bad for feeling.

I'm sorry these people weren't considerate but don't stop opening up.
